Thanks to the excellent advice received on this website, I have now obtained a free unlock code for my Nokia 3310. Just one little problem which I haven't seen anyone refer to: the code needs to be inserted with lightning speed, otherwise the screen clears before the last character is input. I haven't yet managed to get to the penultimate character before losing the lot and even if I did, there would be no time to check the code before hitting the final button. Is this a ploy to make life difficult for the unauthorised user?0

Problem solved! Did some practice with the phone switched off, having written the code down as actual button presses in a columnar format. Had to insert two different codes, but only lost one "life" in the process. Thanks again to this website for pointing me in the right direction.0

I'm getting the hang of it now! Just unlocked another phone. Its only the first few characters you need to enter quickly. I could make a business of this.0

I contacted a company called Mobile Unlock Codes.co.uk on Monday to request an unlock code for a Samsung E2550, I experienced an identical problem to msw01 a previous poster,ie go through all the process of phone, model, all details etc.,go to checkout, pay, then an announcement that it would take 24 hrs, this came after 25 hours saying this was only a temporary unlock whilst my phone was on.I immediately went to our local market where a phone stall unlocked my phone, saved my numbers and installed my new sim card all for £10. I then contacted the company and told them I thought their service smacked of sharp practice threatened them with D.S.R & S.O.G, they refunded my money within 2 hours through paypal.Good result all round,my advice 'SHOP LOCAL'0

Just been given an Orange PAYG phone, a 'Doro PhoneEasy 410'. Alas, Orange is almost unusable in my area and I need the phone unlocked. A local hero of the unlocking fraternity said that he could find no codes for this phone. It's a newish device and may not have attracted the right sort of attention yet(?).
Has anybody actually unlocked a Doro 410 yet and, if so, how was it done, please?0 -

Thanks just managed to get a Samsung M7600 unlocked, not the cheapest at £13 but worked, and not a temporary code. Took about 24 hours. :beer:0 -
I contacted my Tmobile who gave me a PAC code for the pay as you go number, I needed- but I can not swap to the contract one because its the same company.
as suggested I obtained a O2 pay as you go- free simm to swap the number to that- then get a code for that the go back to tmobile.... 2 days in between......
So I put the O2 simm in to find it was not accepted.
Just paid £1-50 to have it unlocked online to find half way through the process the IME was not excepted. it has more than 15 numbers and also - in the sequence. (sony erricson K610i)
A lot of round the reakin for a simple task. Anyone out there any sugestions. I have contacted Tmobile but I am either having trouble understanding them or they me.
Ps I tried the trykillwebsite.
when would I need a PUK code?0
