Hello...first I need to fess up that I know nothing of which you speak! It's all gobledy-gook to me I'm afraid but No2 has somehow managed to lock a Google G1on T-Mobile. They are requesting a password but of course that has melted off into the ether months ago, so do you good folk have any suggestion to what or where we go next please?

I have also just been scammed by unlock solutions.co.uk this is nothing but an outright fraud. They are clearly relying on people not checking them out / not disputingbeacsue the caosts are minor. £4.50 is hardly going to break the bank but I hate the feeling of being conned.

I have opened a paypal dispute but if they have not replied by friday I will talk to my bank.

I had the same problem. Payment was via paypal so just filed a dispute, within 3 hours I had a full refund. Worth a try if paid via paypal.

Have just used unlocksuperstore for an unlocking code for a nokia N82. I was advised that Nigel would contact me within 24hrs with the code. five minutes before the 24hrs was up I had an email saying he needed more info, where it was bought, how old and the number and he would make a code within 24hrs. Next day Nigel contacted me and said he could not do it and I would get my 2.99 refund in 7 days. The strange thing is My Dad did the same think months back, same website, same story, same Nigel, different phone, seems a bit strange to me. how many people pay the 2.99 and this company keeps it for 1 week before telling them they can't do it.

I just unlocked my BlackBerry 8320 with a code from swiftunlocks on ebay. It was cheap and it worked, and the customer service was very good-their original message got caught in my spam filter and every time I contacted them I got an instant and courteous answer. I was *immensely* worried about buying a code from ebay, but I'd definitely use them again.

I too had the miss fortune of using unlocksolution.co.uk, On finding that all they were doing was supplying me a list of othe website I immediatley logged a claim with paypal, stating that Item was not as described.

Here is eaxctly what i had written in the comments of the claim

Your advert stated that an unlock code would be supplied, all that was supplied was a report giving numbers or websites to contact to obtain an unlock code at a further cost, I would like a refund, which I'm certain is covered by the sale of goods act, I will be interested in your prompt response as I work for a Television Production Company and I am be interested in your response times and the outcome of this dispute.

I received my £5.74 back into my paypal account with in 5 minutes

I'm not saying it will work for you, but i sure did for me, I have also reported them to trading standards.
