Evening gang.
Happy birthday Martyn and Master Tru, (at least him and girlfriend were sleeping  )
I have spent most of the day trying to fix Miss Twit's PC, lord only knows what little gremlins are living in there, I have asked on the Techie board, but I must confess to still being totally baffled. I can see that I will have to take it somewhere to be fixed.
I nipped into town and exchanged a make up thing at Boots, the lid had broken and bought a handwash and hand lotion for work, using my points.
Then I took Miss Twit to work for 5pm, I've got to go and collect her at 9pm, she's busy saving her wages ready for next visit to BF in Southampton.
Tea this evening was potato wedges and a minced beef pie...the wedges were HM, but the pie was bought for me by mum
Hester...I can imagine Albert and his rings  It always fascinates me when I read the price leaflet from our local body piercing studio, the names...the places....(where's the shuddering smiley when you need it)
Hugs to those in need

Hello everybody,
Had a wonderful few hours shopping with OH to-day...he needed shoes for Oz and I wanted them bought now so we invaded Tkmaxx around 11 and got home at 4...he was not a happy camper as he hates shopping especially for himself...kept insisting that the 2yearold shoes he wears for 'good' were plenty to bring with him. Got the shoes, nothing for me except a pinking shears as the old one disappeared several years ago. Was sorely tempted to buy a large deep cast iron frying pan thing...would be great for stir fries and Spanish omelettes etc and baking on top of the cooker...kept leaving it and going back to it and eventually decided that maybe there was no real justification for spending €37 on another pan....I'm sorry now, but sure that my decision was right...IYKWIM!
Going to go through my wardrobe with a very sharp eye...may not need to buy anything more than underwear for this trip, no point in loading myself down with stuff I have to give to charity shop by the end of the year...think that I need to throw out some shoes as they all seem to be in the same state of delapidation (that used to be a word, I'm sure!) so not much point in hanging on, as I've got older and fatter I have had much difficulty in finding comfortable shoes so have a few disasters to dump as well.
Metherer...I'm sure that you will have no problem fitting into Ryanair seats...no knowledge of other airline.
Smoky...hugs to you and Smokelets
PP...sorry you haven't been well and to hear news of OH's nan.
Martyn and Young Mister Tru...happy birthday...sorry I'm a bit late...
Hugs to all in need or want, enjoy the rest of the weekend

I have all the clothes I need really bar a few summer tops. But just need to lose 5kg!
We're slobbing round in our jamas here, came home from kids youth orchestra concert, which was brilliant. DH played as well, plus he was stage managing the whole thing and bringing kit home to look after until next week.
We all feel better for tea, beer and supper.
I made my first gluten free cake this afternoon and can report that it's delish. It was carrot and cardamom. Problem is I can see me eating too much of it! I think if I can tweek the recipe it won't be too bad, as not much fat in it, too much sugar really, so will sort it out next time.
I have a looonggg rehearsal tomorrow, 11-5 with our vocal coach attending as well. Need to hit the sack soon!"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"
