Hi everyone. A bit overcast here today, but still dry.Happy Birthday Martyn and Master Tru (or should we call him Lover Boy??)
Been there Tru got the t-shirt, in the end decided that 1) provided it was a regular GF not a 2 minute wonder, 2) her Mum knew where she was and 3) the sleeping arrangments, there were worse things to worry about. As for the pub crawl, well I had been on a few before I was 18 and I am sure so did my DS and yours too.
P-Pin sorry to hear about DH's Nan (((hugs to him))), glad you enjoyed the break, though you needed time in bed.
Whoever it was who's husband woke up at 5.30am, I think mine's suggestion would not have been to go shopping;).
This thread is getting to sound like a little like the village I live in, you dare not talk about anyone, as everybody seems to have some link in to everyone else. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Been round the Market a Ypres this morning, gorgeous selection of Fruit and Veg, together with meat, cheese, and fish stalls. Even one part selling poultry and ducks (for rearing not eating) with fr eggs. Not moving on to Antwep now, staying here as DH still not seen enough WW1 stuff and then going on to Holland on Tuesday.
Take care all

Why is it I have less time now I am retired then when I worked?0 -
Tru, I'll second what DG said about Master Tru, better at home in the warm than in the back of a car.
Hubby has just received a letter to tell him his disability payments are going up by £1.30, that will solve all our financial problems, not.
Rice pud in the SC is now done, I'm putting some chick peas in next for hummus.
Hugs Hester

Afternoon all, don't know where the time has gone, up at 6 and had to take my car in for a service at 8, managed to do some knitting whilst waiting. Then popped to the local farmers market just as they were closing down and came away with a barrow load of fruit and veg they were knocking out at low prices, now I suppose I'll be cooking for most of the day. Veg soup, ratatooeeee, veg lasagne, smoothies and fruit pies. I'm exhausted just thinking of it ! DH is putting up another clothes rail in a cupboad upstairs, as the cottage has stone walls nothing is straight, hence the air is blue and it's not due to the cold !!
Oh well must go and start peeling/chopping.
Happy birthday Martyn and Mr. Tru
Special hugs and love to you Smokie, hang on in there and accept all the help offered, sounds like you have a good GP and can turn to him when you feel it neccesary :A Your being so strong, be proud of yourself, I know we all are x0 -

Happy Birthday Martyn!:bdaycake:
The fruit cake I made yesterday is neary all polished off but cannot understand why all the fruit sinks to the bottom when I make it in the BM!
Might take the square I am knitting with me and do some of it in the car.
Hugs to everybody and see you later.

Trying to work a Spanish keyboard's fun, can't quite find all the buttons!!
Flight out here was delayed from Gatwick, so hoping tomorrow's flight home will be on time.
