Good morning!
[strike]The sun is shining here, I hope it lasts.:T[/strike] I[strike]ts raining already:([/strike] No its sunny again - clearly another one of those days. This is very early for me, I usually have a long lie-in on a saturday but I'm trying to work on my inherent lazyness.;)
To-do list for today:
Washing - WM already on with first load
Weekly Shop
Go into town for presents for my Dnephew and friend's DS, also want to get a good clothes airer to cut down on tumble drier use, and we need a new washing line for outside.
Make muffins or brownies
It doesn't look like much but I doubt I'll fit much more in! Got to be ready to sit down and chill when Doctor Who starts you see.
OH's DDs will be here from about midday to tea-time tomorrow so I'm unlikely to get much more use on the pc:rolleyes:. Still, they normally like baking so I can probably let them do it whilst I supervise. Tea will be HM pizza (hope OH will make the dough).
Right, the conservatory is calling for my obligatory weekend-morning sit with cuppa and book.
(((HUGS))) for Smoky
Happy Birthday Martyn - hope you have a good one.
Have a good day everyone xx0 -

Hello everyone. I don't usually surf around the OS boards (i'm usually 'discussing' issues in DT) but i'm coming round to the OS way of thinking in a big way so please be gentle with me!! I've been up since 5am with little man, not that i mind, and now his big brother has just stirred so i'm gonna go get him up for his toast and milk!! Be back in a bit. Once again Hello to all and i look forward to learning the OS ways from more experienced people on here than me!!0

Morning all...
Happy Birthday Martyn!!!! :bdaycake: Haven't caught up on yesterday's thread really, but glad to hear you sounding chirpy this morning & sounds like you've had some unexpected surprises! Happy Birthday to all the other DS/DD's - seems to be a popular time of year!
(((((smokey)))))) and anyone else who would like one.
Welcome Rhysdad (you sneaked in while I was typing!) - and also welcome to any other newbies
Am shattered this morning - oldest DD & her mate had their joint 16th birthday party here last night.... My garden looks like glastonbury with all the tents (no mud though) and it was gone 2am before they shut up enough for me to get some sleep... by 5.30am I could hear (their) voices again.... They're all up, tidying the garden & planning on going to McDonalds for breakfast shortly apparently!!!!
Still not made that banana bread, just don't seem to have had any time for me the past few days but think today it should get doneAnd will just sit like a vegetable as well I reckon... I should get some washing out too as the weather's gorgeous at the moment!

sorry you're holiday was cut short by such sad news PP
happy birthday Martyn. you seem to have a fan club.
today will not be OS. I am going shopping with sister. so will probably have lunch outDD is taking DS in to town to help him get something to wear for a party tonight. She loves to do that and he needs the help. He's got major girl friend problems and we have had a nightmare week over it all. tonight i think will be make or break. so tissues are on stand by again. teenagers! He is still poorly, blood tests are much worse so that is not helping his coping with all this emotional upset.
