  • Hi,

The number for cashback claims is 08700 429 066

    Cheers
  • Hi - just a quick question. Hope someone can help. I have got a phone with phonebox direct - I got my first cashback claim with no problems. I have recently sent off my second one - they have changed address so I had to send it to a different address to last time - also the cashback form has slightly changed. Anyway - when I sent my first form in - I got an email to say they had recieved it - this time I have had nothing. I sent by recorded delivery and have tracked it and can see that they have recieved it. Do you think I need to worry that I have not recieved an email from them?

    Any advice would be appriciated!

    Daveyjay,

you didnt mention how long ago it was you sent of your claim, but in my experience it took 14 days to recieve an email to say the claim had been imput onto their systems.

  • Hi - thanks for the response. It was my December bill - so I would have recieved it and sent it off on about the 8th December so maybe the email is still to come. Just don't want to miss out on any further cashback and I was a bit concerned because it was a different address and different cashback form. Once again - thanks for getting back to me.
  • Daveyjay,

Just another quick thought. I'm pretty sure the second email they sent me was sent much earlier than i actually recieved it... maybe you should do a search through your emails? Believe me, i was keeping a very close eye on my emails desperate for an update from them but I only found the email they sent on the 14 dec on the 20th december when i searched my lnbox to find their phone number. I'm sure it wasnt their on the 14th as it was apparently sent at lunchtime and like i said i was checking my email very often for news!

The other thing you might think about doing is giving them a ring while you still have a chance to get another bill from your supplier? Just in case they have 'lost' your claim. I sent my claim in special delivery with consequential loss just in case they tried that one with me, it will end up costing me £25 quid over the year but that is a lot better than losing whatever cashback i have left due!

i was considering taking out a new contract with PBD and i've done a search and it appears it takes a while for the cheques to arrive and not only that sometimes the bills dont arrive but i appreciated that this is not PBD's fault.

so my question is. does anyone have any other feedback on these as 12mths contract with 12mths free line rental appears to be to good to be true!

I saw a deal last year. Carphone Warehouse matched it. I believe they still will. This way you eliminate the risk.

There is a link from their website. you use it to email them a link to the offer. They call you to confirm the deal. realy is quite easy.
Plenty of mistakes, but no regrets. :)

    Hi
Please can I ask where the link is on the CPW site,I have a contract with Phoneboxdirect and have just recieved the 3rd payment of 5,however each payment is a nail biting affair.Their T&Cs are quite onerous and they seem to look for any excuse not to pay and if you make a mistake on one they will not pay any future cashbacks.
So if you send your 1st cashback info to them with a mistake, they will not pay that and they will not pay the rest even if you send everything in correctly.
CPW are much easier to use and are usually helpful and sympathetic to errors.
So hence my link request. Thanks

    link

I found the link on a thread on this site back in May. Can't find it now. Not very good at seaching old threads. The system seems to have changed a little. This link takes you to their guarantee/pledge. but I assure you that it works.

give it a go you have nothing to lose. They are quite helpful and friendly.
Plenty of mistakes, but no regrets. :)
