Hi!
Please share any good deals found.
Did the above link worked for anyone to get the same deal from carphonewarehouse?
Cheers!0 -
Heres a simple idea, could someone who has sent off the correct bills at the right time and recieved their cashback, jot down the date they signed up for their phone and which subsequent bills they sent in at each particular cashback stage.
This would be so easy for someone to do and it would help out a lot of confused people, myself being one of them :-)Nothing happens until something moves.0 -
Hi, I have now recieved 3 of my 5 payments. The instructions from PBD seem a bit ambiguous .I have succeeded by sending bill 5,7 and 9 and for my claim month payment 10 I will send in bill 11 and for 12 I will send my final bill no13.
So I signed up on 14/3/06,my first bill I sent in was dated15/7/06 and was numbered by O2 as bill 5,second was dated15/9/06 and numbered as biil7,etc.
I hope this helps.0 -
Hi,
Really need some advice on my cashback claim from phonebox direct...don't want to mess it up!
- I joined on 5 September.
- I ported my number from Orange.
- My contract is 12 months on Three. at £35 a month. But the first THREE MONTHS were half price (£17.50).
- I have now received my January Bill.
- Is my January Bill the correct one for the first claim?
- Is my current claim for Sept - Nov (17.50 x 3 = 52.50) + December & Jan (35 x 2 = 70) = £122.50
- Is my WHOLE claim (17.50 x 3 = 52.50) + remaining months at normal price (35 x 9 = 315) = £367.50
- Do I send the WHOLE bill, including the numbers I called etc?
- I must also send the first bil with the original number i connected with?
Thank you sooooo much!

Today I have just received a letter from phone box direct to say that my final cash back claim has not been accepted because I did not send the original last bill. This is true; however, prior to sending them a print out of my bill as well as the bill from the previous month, I had rung them up and told them that O2 were refusing to send me the final bill as it was for £0.00. Phone box agreed that this would suffice as a claim as long as I sent a covering letter with her name on it. She also agreed to make a note on my account.
Is there anything I can do, to get my money back, they have given me 10 days to send the original bill, and then they will give my cash back minus £10.00 admin costs. As O2 have said they have dispatched the bill, 20 days ago, it seems unlikely that they will send me the bill.
Has anyone got any advice, in what to do next?
Any help would me much appreciated.

e-mail 29/01/2007 "We are pleased to confirm your claim has now been processed and we will have your paperwork out in the post in the next few days."
Not here yet, reaching the end of the 12 month contract. I'd usually terminate the contract and start again with another cashback scheme, but it's hard work with phoneboxdirect so I've accepted O2's retention offer, 125 talk, 500 text and a new Nokia N73 for £5 per month over 12 months. This is the first time I'll have paid for a 'phone for a couple of years :-(0 -
^I have had that exact same email, received it on the 6/2/07 but nothing yet.
Sent an email. Its been more than 28 days since I sent the original bill as well
Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.0 -
I have had 16 cashbacks applications submitted to Phonebox Direct.
On average, I have receive dt the cheques within 12 days (the quickest was 6 days/longest 2 weeks)
I have anothe4 applications to make this year - it has been a thouroughly enjoyable experience - I would nver return to any of the CPW brands again.0 -

I received that email on the 7 feb. I have just phoned and been told it will probably be another week to 10 days before they get to my paperwork ! They have had my claim since the 18 jan... funny how it is okay for them to break the t&c's but if you make the slightest mistake or the po supposedly loses your letter than they throw the book at you and refuse all your cashback!
