Got my cash back today! So, I sent January 18, they received it on the 19th so just under two months. Got to send a bill NOW so we'll see how long that will take.

I finally got my cheque yesterday too :j They recieved my claim on the 18th Jan as well so it took nearly 2 months. I wouldnt mind, but the email I recieved in feb said that my cheque would be sent in the next few days.. I hate to think how long I would wait if they had actually said the cheque would be sent out in the next 6 weeks! The cheque was dated 3/3/07 but wasnt posted until the 12th? The whole process starts again now as my bill just landed on the doormat today :mad:

I have ordered the 5300 nokia in black and white on the 7/3, i hadn't received anything by monday so i rang them and they said it was on back order and it will be another 7-10 days. I have been checking the website and it still shows as available yet some other mobiles are showing as being on back order, i think this is very misleading :mad:

I've just been told by Mobile Media Systems Limited from Bingham in Nottingham (a phone company I contacted after reading about them here) that my cashback claim is no longer valid as I did not claim within the required one month period. THIS CANCELS THE REMAINDER OF MY CLAIM!!! :mad: :mad: :mad:

Fortunately I have proof confirming that I did claim within the one month period (albeit the recorded delivery item was received on the last day of the month....phew!!!).:o

A word of warning to you all....read the small print (now how many times have you heard that) and if possible, avoid this company.

Take the to the small claims court if they don't pay. And add £30 to your claim to cover it

on 10th March 07 (sunday). According to them I should have received it on Tuesday/Wednesday but I did not receive anythining yet. So I have called today on 0870 0427 895 (01270 755324 found on saynoto0870.com). The guy told me that the phone has been discontinued and can offer you another phone. He offered me another phone like Sony eric-k750 or motorola something. But I said I only signed up to this deal because of this Phone so please cancel it. He said OK and will send an email to confirm it. waiting for the email now.

*I called again after 20 minutes and the same guy was there same conversation again.


the funny thing is that Nokia 6280 is still on offer on their website http://www.phoneboxdirect.co.uk/vhandsets.asp

He said they are aware of it and will be updated shortly.

I am in the 3rd period of claiming cashback from phoneboxdirect. Although generally ok, I have just been advised that they received my most recent claim late and have hence cancelled my cashback AS A WHOLE!!

Fortunately, I sent the latest cashback recorded delivery and can prove they got the relevant documentation on time. Had I not done this, I would have been well and truly stuffed.

I don't think I'll go to phoneboxdirect again simply because of this cancellation of future cashback lark.

Do they calculate the one calendar month from the date of the bills I wonder? All my bills seem to arrive between 10-14 days after the date on the bill !!

I always send my claims via Recorded Delivery - thankfully!!

hi just received my hand set and would like to know when would i need to send my first cash back is it my 4th bill or is it 120 days which could be the 5th bill
