No - (unless, of course, the signature was to accept the new Ts + Cs).
This just sounds like an attempt to scare you off.
Why would you accept new conditions detrimental to you (which in fact meant you would have been agreeing to lose all your cashback)?0 -
I just checked the form, and you are right, it doesnt say by signing this form you are accepting our T&C as they currently stand. The form does say to check the T&C on their website before returning the form, which might be a circular way for them to claim I constructively agreed to their new T&C.
However I guess this is where the Unfair T&C regs come in?
Thanks so much for your help!0 -
You didn't need to check their Ts + Cs as you already knew them - and had a hard copy!
They couldn't enforce new ones on you.0 -
Simple solution is just to send emails.
No point in speaking to them anyway, they just lie.
Tried emailing and no response.
The other possible Issue I have is that having ported a number they ask for the first bill showing the original number. With Orange I didn't get a first bill showing the original number. Just the welcome letter/dispatch note.
I did ring at the time (PBD) and they said the dispatch note showing the number would be OK but from your comments do I take it that might not be the case?
Am I stuffed? Is there anything I can do?

If you never got a bill with the original number on, then they can't deny your claim because of that.
Send a letter along with the claim explaining the problem, along with the opening bill you got which only shows your ported number, together with anything else that is relevant (paperwork showing the original number, etc).
Keep copies of everything and hope they reject your claim.
You would then win a MCOL - in which you could claim for the total owed following their fundamental breach of your contract + court costs + interest on the unpaid instalment.0 -
I bought a cpntract with these people in June and have to send in my 4th bill with the claim form .Unfortunatly I cant find my Despatch note. Has anyone else had this happen to them and did they pay out?0

If you read through the thread you will see lots of posts on this. People have had claims rejected where no despatch note sent.
Did your conditions state this was a requirement?0 -

I just checked and the Customer Care line has changed it's phone number from and 0870 number (08700 427 895) to a premium rate 0901 0901 5540066 number. With no mention of how much it costs. Sounds like a call to ITCSIS!

just tried ringing both this premium rate number and the other one they have (the old cashback enquires line) which is the same number but has 22 at the end rather than 66.
BOTH LINES ARE DEAD!!!!!!! NUMBER UNOBTAINABLE
I rang the sales dept and was told the numbers had only been in use since monday and to keep trying but looking at the date of the above post, thats a lie.
I've emailled them asking why the number in not in use but I am like a number of other people here who are still waiting on some old cheques. I sent my 4th claim back at the beginning of september and despite being told it had been posted over a month ago, have not received anything. I also have 3 more cheques in the system (4th on another number and then both 5th's) plus I signed up for another 2 contracts a couple of months ago, plus one from the missus at the same time!!!
Any suggestions before I hear they've folded???0 -

I bought the phone on 29.6.7. How do you know it changed on 2.7.7 so I can quote this if needed. Thanks0
