Right, just about to send off the first part of my cashback, but just want to double check I'm sending the right bill.Send us this form and the original bill that arrives showing you have been connected
for 4 months. I.e. if you were connected on the 1st of January, you need to send in the bill that is
dated around the 1st of May. This is 120 days (4months) after connection, showing your name,
address, tariff and mobile number.
Is this good enough? The bill is for line rental for the whole of September, but I get the feeling they will try to find any excuse not to pay....
Any thoughts?0 -
Your bill of 19/09 is AROUND 21/09 and includes the 4 month date Not exactly, but AROUND.
They would find it very hard to argue with this, but not surprising if they do.
Send your bill off so as they can't receive it until on/after 24/09 (4 months) and by Special Delivery with consequential loss insurance.
Best of luck,

Actually I disagree; they have defined "4 months" by specifying the number of days. Much as I do respect Lynsey's experience and opinion I reckon that if you send this one off a £10 charge awaits. Personally I'd wait until the next bill and if they don't pay THAT claim sue for the whole lot. However, I think they would pay IF you do everything ELSE to the letter.0

MJ e2save have told me by phone that as long as the bill period covers the 4 month connection that is the one to send, but NOT until the actual 4 months is up. Not exactly as the T&C's but they don't fully understand them either as you say. Lots of confusion and interesting times ahead.

Just replied on another thread. That's not the way they interpret it according to what they told me! Just gets better and better! Lol! I suspect this may be semantics. i.e. you can claim within 30 days of the fourth monthly date from when you ordered (THAT part is a variation of the old Onestop t&c as well) as long as the bill is no more than 28 days old. Of course, that is totally ignoring the legal t&c which actually apply should you take them to court - as I definitely would (but won't need to since I have carefully covered ALL bases!).0
-
why don't you email them asking that question & asking for clarification. Least you will have something in writing from them if they reject your claim.
Can someone explain the consequential loss cover please - are you saying that it covers you if phoneboxdirect say that a page is missing in your claim? Otherwise it provides no more compensation than recorded delivery - £34.
thanks0 -
They won't tell you anything in writing apart from the incorrect information on your account. I wonder why? Lol! As for consequential loss - good luck for anyone attempting to claim even a book of stamps from Royal Mail for their !!!!-ups (though have had a much better experience, to be fair - my first such of several - very recently!).0
