Insurgente: With this company it's wise to copy the form you send (and the bill) with the recorded delivery envelpe (number showing). That way it can't have been filled in afetrwards. In any case, I think a judge would believe you and it would be difficult for the dealer to produce a doctored form of their own. In court it's a question of probabilities. If you are organised, thorough and careful with documentary evidence I think the logical points you make would have a much greater prospect of convincing the judge.
Yes, the E2Save comment was made for you - but my error (bit brain dead after a long stint on here and having cpw on the brain right now!).
As for your fifth claim, I don't see what the time Phonebox takes to get back to you has to do with anything in regard to that?0 -
I sent in my 1st claim on a 12mnth/free contract recorded delivery, and I've just walked in to see both envelopes on the floor returned to me. The tick is next to the "adressee has gone away" box. I'm worried now cos I know the forms have to be with them within a short period of time!
What should I do??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
What address did you use?0 -

In contractual matters, the law. But it would need some bottom-kicking in court for general enforcement.
And then perhaps I would lose my 100% redemption rate ..... so, in summary, for the 12 months free schemes to continue, I need more punters to lose their money, and no court case.
I think my next purchases from PBD will involve some pre-contract negotiations to clarify certain issues.0 -
Miky; Para one - the law only applies when people use it, as the dealers well know. Para two - couldn't agree more!! Para Three - I tried that originally with mixed success. Not sure they're as helpful as even that now! You realise that you can only have 2 x 12 month free deals with them now I suppose?0
-
^further dealings with PBD? don't you already have 20 pages of reasons not to bother?
yea my lack or organisation could be my downfall...i'm a messy !!!!!!!
for the 5th claim i meant, it's be due to be claimed just over 5 weeks from now....it takes PBD atleast a month to get back to me on my 4th (which i'm certain i'm entitled to). due to them screwing with my 4th, all subsequent claims are invalid.... so by the time the 4th is sorted out, it'd be too late to apply for the 5th. make any sense?
assuming they'll try to !!!! me on the 4th, should i just send in the 5th anyway? get more proof of doing it...then demand all the cash? with this court order (After getting proper legal advice, of course).... i really need this money too. it's a right kick in the knackers0 -
Well, it makes no sense (para 3) and why wouldn't you (para 4?). As for para one - I'm a mobilejunkie... then again, it wasn't me who said they were going for it!!0

How long have people been waiting for their intial cash back? PBD recieved my first claim 4th July, I've since had their 'progress' updates the last one 26th August stating that my cheque should be sent out within the next 10 working days. 13 days working have passed and I don't have my cheque. Is this normal practice from them, or should I start to worry. Afterall it's been over 70 days since they recieved my claim...0

anybody who bought a contract phone from THE MOBILE OUTLET in March 2007 or a little earlier or later...
in Terms & conditions at that time which bills were mentioned to be sent to them for cashback ? were they 1-4 / 5-6 / 7-9 / 11 / 12 ?
or the ones they got in their Terms & conditions at the moment which are: 1-4 / 5-7 / 8-9 / 10-11 / 12 ....?
as far as i know it was the first one ( 1-4 / 5-6 and so on .....)
they refused my claim as they say i sent in the wrong bill..
i need some advice urgently as if i m wrong my next bill that i need to send in is due in these next approx 2 weeks .....If electricty comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?0
