If you read this thread you will find many similar tales - and responses. You don't sound too sure about the facts from your side; "I remember" sounds a bit weak to me. It's partly a case of shutting the door after the horse has bolted if you don't do things right - and I don't mean their right. Ultimately it's a balance of forces; how far you're prepared to go, how far they are and, of course, ultimately who the judge in court believes. The cost of suing them isn't great and it's not difficult, but if your objective is to get them to pay you will need to organise your "proof" and arguments and put forward a convincing strategy. As always, the less you prepared from day one assuming this could happen, the harder that will be.0

Had a phone-call Monday from a lovely lady called Francis......"I am an independant (can't remember exact wording)........How can we sort out this claim?"
I explained the full situation.
"OK. We will pay the old claim in full, plus your current claim and start afresh."
In my astounded/confused/elated state forgot about £30 Moneyclaim fee and agreed.
Cheque for full amount arrived Tuesday morning.
Happy days!!!!
Just don't give in to them.0 -
If you forwent your £30 fee you DID give in to them. It has cost them NOTHING and you've lost £30. They only paid that because you had them. I would NEVER let them get away with that and couldn't call it a result! A result is ALL the money they owe you - PLUS costs you have incurred. No wonder these places try it on!0

similar problem with PBD. I have logged a complaint with vodafone as provider but wondering what else I should do? Has anyone complained and got reimbursed?0

There's something like 60 pages on this and the Coolnewmobile threads. If you read them I'm sure you'll find many examples of whatever your particular problem is with them etc.0

Congratulations kevs179, never mind the 30 quid a victory is a victory!0

Poor man's victory! Any "victory" is their's; it cost them zilch to try it on, it cost kevs179 £30. I'd take that as a dealer any time!0
-
!!!!, that IS a good victory...what did you do to get them to phone you up? i'd love a bit of that0
-
Yes; would only cost £30 of your money! For that I think I prefer other entertainment!0
