I was connected around the 31st of January
my bill details are as follows,
1st bill - period up to 1st of february - bill date 2nd february 2007
2nd bill - period up to 1st of march - bill date 2nd march 2007
3rd bill - period up to 1st of april - bill date 2nd april 2007
the next bills I recieve will be,
4th bill - period up to 1st of may - bill date 2nd may 2007
5th bill - period up to 1st of june - bill date 2nd june 2007
I've read a lot of posts on the forums but now I am really confused as to wehter I should send off the bill dated 2nd may or the bill dated 2nd june, ie the 4th or the 5th bill.
The bills are delivered around the 10th of the month
Any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks
John
PS do I send the whole bill in, ie pages listing the phone calls as well, or just the front sheet?Nothing happens until something moves.0 -
junkeyslutz my advise would to count 120 days and sent the bill that shows you have been connected at least 120 days i know this as i had the same query if you do not know your exat connection date give the customer sevices a call as they can give you that date and send in the pages with your Name, Address, Mobile number and the tariff you are connected to this can be on the first page but some bills have it divided on pages 1,2 and 3 so scan your bills for the 4 items they require and send those in:j :j :j0

ive counted 120 days from your connection date and it works out 31 may so you need to send the next bill dated after that so it would be your bill dated 2 june 20070 -
I have cancelled my contract and was currently waiting for what would be the 12th bill dated 10th April to send in to PhoneBoxDirect for my last cashback claim.
Not received a bill yet and when I checked my account on 3 website it shows no bill has been prepared so I called 3 and they advised me that since I have cancelled my contract I wont receive a bill dated 10th April I will simply receive a bill up to and including 10th May when my contract ends and this bill will cover both April and May.
I have no idea how this is going to go down with PhoneBoxDirect since it will be a month later than expected although it will still physically be the 12th Bill. What a nightmare!
Has anyone else experienced this when cancelling with 3 and trying to claim cashback from PhoneBoxDirect?
I would suggest contacting phonebox and 3 and advising both of the situation, as your contract with 3 was taken out through phonebox between them they need to resolve this to ensure you are not prevented from claiming your cashback.(I'm not sure how useful this will be-I have two fully valid claims I'm waiting for payment on, but at least if it needs to go to court you can show a paper trail of trying to comply)0 -
Hi
http://www.phoneboxdirect.co.uk/
Looking into getting the Nokia 6300, I just cant get my head round how this might be free?
All I want is the handset for putting my work sim card into!!
Any advice is appreciated!
Cheers,

It means that you pay your monthly line rental as normal but on certain months of the contract they will give you cashback as long as you stick to there terms and conditions and send everything they require on the correct days, so at the end of the contract you have paid the line rental but with the cashback they send you it will have cost you nothing in reality. Hi
I have been with Phonebox Direct and had my first two claims paid properly. In relation to my claim 3, they sent me an e-mail authorising it and that a cheque would be sent out. When I did not receive the cheque 3 weeks later, I rang them and they said they had sent a letter saying that I had failed to send the correct documentation. However, I did not receive this letter.
I spoke to someone called Ingrid who told me to resend the claim and she would sort it out. After sending me a letter rejecting the claim, I spoke to her and she said they would void my claim 3 and pay the remaining ones out.
I said I was not happy with this and complained. Thye have now voided all my future claims. They said the e-mail sent authorising the claim was sent in error.
I am taking them to the county court and would be interested to hear from people who have had probloems with them because of their onerous terms and conditions. As I work in the legal field, I believe they are unfair.
I would be prepared to help others who want to sue them through the county court!
thanks for the info. Just wonder how your case went? I had the same problem as you. Apparently, they lied about receiving the claim form if one does not send it via recorded delivery. I have written a complaint letter to them. not sure if they will reply in 14 days as i asked in the letter. if they ignore my letter, i would take them to the court. will need your advice and help then. The story continues .....
Tried to contact them once again today but just as before, no response. Their Customer Care dept gave me a new number to call and that number is answered as CoolNewMobile but despite trying all the options offered, there is no reply, just a constant ringing out.
So I have written to them once again....I am now waiting for 2 overdue Cashback Claims, a shortfall of £13.50 on each of 3 claims already paid, and advising them that my last Claim will be late since "3" wont be raising the 12th bill until 1 month later.
Also advising them that I shall take action via the Small Claims Court should they fail to honour their agreement.
