Has anyone had any success getting a refund from the credit card company?
We feel we were mis sold the membership and thought of approaching the card company.

A few people seem to have success with this. We are with Santander and they have refused over and again to accept responsibility, though under the consumer credit act 1974, it states that they have joint responsibility for gross misrepresentation. I have complained to the financial ombudsmen about this and am awaiting a response.

I would definitely try it and quote the consumer credit act 1974 and 'gross misrepresentation'.

    Good Luck!
  • Has anyone heard from the guy who found a solicitor in Milton Keynes, I live there and cannot trace anyone who will look at it. The problem is, we all signed a contract. The problem lies in the verbals we were given that explained the contract - and it is the verbal explanantion that woudl take some proving.
Probably the only solution is for a Class Action where a solicitor takes it on on behalf of a host of people and I guess there are 1,000s out there who have been duped like us.
The sad thing is I have been with them for 8 years and had good service, until our holiday in Spain last year was hijacked by so called Club Class employees, actually CDS Concierge salesmen.
This has been going on for years and it is amazing that the Spanish authorities still allow it on their territory.
It needs a champion to take this up and I guess it would be a full time job for somebody. Martin Lewis - you seem like the right person !!!

I sent all of my info to the Solicitor in Milton Keynes and they wrote back a few months later (about 6 months ago now) saying they were not going to pursue the case as they had had so much information against a number of different companies all stating different issues. We need to just get people duped by Club Class Concierge as we all seem to have the same issues!
  • I have been in contact with a Lawyer, who thinks that if we can get a group of people together - all with the same issues - he can pursue Club Class on a no win no fee basis (as our claims are over £5000). He is going to contact me again tomorrow with more information and to let me know what he needs from us.

Please can you inbox me if you are interested and as soon as I have more info I'll post it here! Also, can you let me know if there's anywhere else you have found people in similar situations - obviously, the more the better!

    Thanks
  • I too have been caught by CCC. Any posibility of any recompence would be good, So I'm in.

Why if you have made a claim now are they only offering to pay in July? If its based in Gibraltar, I wouldn't hold up any hope at all, a quick search will find dozens of people who were disappointed from this and previous so called cash back schemes. The whole get rid of your timeshare now in hope of something in the future is a complete con from start to finish.
