I have been in contact with a Lawyer, who thinks that if we can get a group of people together - all with the same issues - he can pursue Club Class on a no win no fee basis (as our claims are over £5000). He is going to contact me again tomorrow with more information and to let me know what he needs from us.
Please can you inbox me if you are interested and as soon as I have more info I'll post it here! Also, can you let me know if there's anywhere else you have found people in similar situations - obviously, the more the better!
Thanks
Count me in, I need to be in on this as I'm also being chased by debt collectors for unpaid maintenance which they CCC promised they were paying. I'm wondering if i'll be getting chased for more as this is owed from 2009! I'm due to try to get the cashback next July so I'm now expecting more debt collector letters for 2010 and possibly 2011 maintenance fees.
Thanks in great anticipation

Hi all,
To my great surprise I received a letter today confirming that my cashback claim was valid! So I will get some money ion the next few months - however they didn't say how much, so I'm not holding out too much hope!
Still waiting on the financial ombudsman's decision regarding my claim under the 1974 act against my credit card!0 -

please count me in on this too. Got club class sapphire from terranova then was persuaded to up-grade to platinum,gb marketing. on next holiday. First cash back from reclaim was never properly registered by terranova but have been contacted today by an investment house in gibralta, cashback reclaim, who say if we visit tenerife and meet with a consultant they can sort out the paperwork so we can get our money. BUT we have to pay out an admin fee of £247, via credit card, but we'll get that back once paperwork complete and they'll give us up to 7 days free accomodation , oh.... and we've to organise our own flights !!!!0 -
If you believe that a trip to Tenerife isn't another attempt to extract money from you, then you still believe in Father Christmas. This is an attempt to get you to buy into a new scheme with a 'promise' of cash back in the future, please don't fall for it. Most never see a penny and the correspondent above has been promised 11% back, so only an 89% profit for them, not you0

Am very interested. Have just attempted to apply for money back and been refused!! Although have always suspected that would be the case for the last three years. Put it down to a 'moment of holiday madness!' However, really would like to be involved in putting a stop to people like this!0

They advertise for staff in the local newspaper asking for cvs to be sent to an email address would be great if a reporter managed to get a job in there thats the only way you can find out who these people are paul.cdsconcierge@yahoo.com0

We got ripped off in 2005 in Santa Ponsa by a company called Huntingdon Holiday Services.
I am willing to join group to recoup money-nearly 8k.
I have credit card statements showing transactions.
Could i try claiming this back?

You need to start by writing to your credit card company and claiming it back off them stating section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974. The card company will refuse you then you can forward your complaint to the financial ombudsmen.
This is where I am now - hoping for a response very soon - will let you know!
Not sure if 2005 was too long ago - it's 5/6 years, so you may need to act quickly - unless you have only just discovered that your cashback was dodgy then you may have grounds.
MAKE SURE YOU CANCEL YOUR ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION BEFORE THE FIRST ONE IS DUE - IN WRITING TO CLUB CLASS IN GIBRALTAR! IF NOT THEY HOUND YOU THREATENING ALL SORTS OF FEES AND LEGAL ACTION FOR NON-PAYMENT!0 -
Hi there, I bring joy to the party!!!
I have had and used timeshares for a number of years, and certainly was never dissappointed with the treatment on my many holidays. I have been 'caught out' by the scratch cards whilst abroad, just have to put that down to experience, and will never be so stupid again!
However, three years ago, I was approached by an english based company 'club class concierge' of exeter, who claimed they could help me re-coup some of my money that I had splashed out over the years. Needing the money more than a holiday at the present time, I went with it, shelling out a bit more money.... Having read the small print on my euro voucher, I didnt actually expect to recieve anywhere near the amount shown, as it does actually quite clearly state that the eurovoucher mustnt exceed the invoice amount [ which it does, but I suppose its to make you hopeful]. After reading forums like this one, I didnt dare to even dream I was going to recieve anything. Imagine my huge shock yesterday, when I open an envelope with a cheque for over £4000!!!!!!!!!!! A lot lower than promised, but bigger than expected. Think the answer here, is not to hope for miracles but to be pleased that I've had tons of lovely holidays out of my outlay, and that club class has stopped me having to pay maintenace for 3 years, and that I still belong to their holiday club, which seems great. Rock on club class!!!!!!!!!!0
