0844 numbers = Rip-Off.

Sky wanted people to think dropping 0870 was a good idea, when in fact what they replaced it with (0844) is worse.

Fleecing scammers!

Hi All,

I am moving next door to my sister, can anyone tell me if i would be breaking any of Sky's T&C's if i was to connect my router up to my sisters house etiher via cable or wireless.

Could i also ask if it is possible to set download limits through the router setting or another way.

I have the Sky Broadband Router DG934G

and no, that is not against skys rules. I doubt sky care what anyone does when people on the 2gb plans are using over 80gb

of course all of this will only last for so long.. like pipex.. and we will be all capped soon with packet throttling. I remember you used to be able to download 750gb per month on pipex's unlimited plan like you can now on sky without them caring
