    You're welcome!

I don't have an exct address for Roeprs... but it is in Los Coloradas. The shopping complex might be labelled as "El Pueblo". I don't like linking to my own sites normally... but this one is a non-commercial blog, and it's certainly necessary to help answer your question. It's a map of Playa Blanca and includes supermarkets on it. Scroll over to the far right hand side of the resort and zoom in. Ropers is the most Eastern supermarket labelled on there

I see on the map it's mentioned as being on "Calle de Los Buganvillas". As you park up on the road outside the shopping centre, you'll see a kiddies playground. Opposite that is a walkway, and you'll be able to see a cafe through it. Ropers is on the right as you enter the walkway.

    Hope that helps!

Cloudy today but still warm at 26 degrees. Forecast also says cloudy tomorrow, but sunny on Sunday. I use the following to check weather as it seems to be the most accurate for Playa Blanca:

    Hi Elle,

I'm coming over to Lanzarote in June and just wanted to say that I really appreciate your guide. I've stayed at Playa Blanca before (last September to be exact) but your insider info is very useful indeed!

    All the best,

Thanks Chris - I'm so pleased you're finding it useful!

June's a lovely month for sunshine and fairly similar to September's weather - so don't forget your sun cream!

Thanks for the guide - we've just booked a lovely villa in Playa Blanca :)

About to book a private transfer from the airport from the guy you recommend in your first post - you said if we mention you/your website when booking there'd be a discount. Any idea what the discount might be? We're on a tight budget and are planning everything very carefully!

    Thanks in advance :j

Hello hello! I think it's 10% - but that's only on private transfers... not the shuttle. Any discount is a good discount though eh?

I spoke to him yesterday actually - he's a top fella. You can either pay in advance via t4you.eu or you can pay on arrival via his https://www.lastminutetransfers.com (unrelated to "Last Minute Travel") or his https://www.123transfers.net - all three of those sites belong to Karsten.

Have a lovely lovely time! It's a scorcher today, despite the forecast saying it was going to be cloudy. Tomorrow, myself and a friend are off to the stunning white sandy coves at Papagayo to top up our tans.

    Hi Elle,

can you tell me whether Flamingo Beach is open now? We went to the Flamingo Beach last year and it was in the process of being 'tidied up'. Can't wait to go back!

Sorry if this is a really stupid question, but am I right in assuming that we shouldn't be drinking the tap water? It's ok to make tea and brush your teeth with though? :o
