I think if MIL hasn't done anything or said anything since OH spoke to her yesterday, then this might be your only option; and if this fails then you really have done EVERYTHING reasonably possible (and more) to support SIL. I would then bar her from my house.
MIL said she will say to SIL but as she rightly pointed out to OH she can't actually make her do anything she doesn't want to.
OH is picking SIL up first before going to his Mums on Sat Morning. So he can be the judge of wether she smells or not.
On the subject of the pampering session, I can't justify spending that sort of money on my self at the moment never mind SIL. In the past i've offered to straighten her hair, do her eyebrows/make up etc she always politely refuses
Also what she needs is achieveable with soap,water and a bloody good scrub.How does a brown cow give white milk, when it only eats green grass?0 -
