Congrats on the new car.....

Ikwym in regards to garages. I wonder if it some sales people in general, it's a wonder they ever make any money the way they behave.

Two stripped beds and 3 loads of washing already , I really need to get on with my housework :o, but its too comfy sat reading MFW diaries in my jim jams :D. Good luck with your chores. :)

Hi Pixiedust, love your user name BTW, we all need a bit of pixie dust in our life

I can tell you it was as much  for me as it was for you :rotfl:
The 4th load (and last!) is ready to go but will do that to-morrow now as sick of drying stuff. It's not that I don't wash regularly mind ;) one load was bedding, the next wools and the next a 'normal' wash. Hope you had a good time catching up with diaries in your jim-jams, I'm jealous

That's an impressive done-list for that time of the morning! I've dragged myself into work... think that will pretty much my only achievement for the day :D.

Thanks tea lover (another good name!) I was pleased to get some jobs done too but loads more housework to go I'm afraid. Hope you had a good day at work

Yes, it does make you wonder Lula, it seems to be the same with many tradespeople, I've lost count of the number of times people don't call you back and currently a family member been waiting two weeks for a carpet fitter to give her a time and date to do the job

Deep sigh :o

Well I've shut up work for the day. It's only 5.30 but already done 10.5 hours and I'm flagging a bit after the 3.41 wakey ups!

The ironing board is just about to go up for the second time today which is unheard of but I don't mind, me and Tilly are weird like that in that we enjoy ironing :p

It feels good to be making some inroads into my untidy house so will try and report back later on what I've got done

PS, had yummy HM veggie curry for lunch with boiled rice, delish and I'm having the same again for dinner:j

Anyone for a free GR@ze box?

I got a voucher last week for a freebie. It arrived today with a code in to share with friends so if anyone wants a copy drop me a PM

If it's anything like mine I had to register to get the free one and you then have to cancel it after that or they keep coming through

Not had one before but seen others with them, only nibbled one item so far today but twas very nice

Not too bad a day workwise, more steady rather than the usual madhouse

I've finished the next batch of ironing though will be a bit more to-morrow when it's all dried

Just filed a load of paperwork following the doneathon I had a couple of weeks ago that generated lots of filing. Still a wee bit more to do though

I've also sorted the car insurance too, in the end I cancelled my current policy as the car manufacturer offered me a really good deal including paying my cancellation charges to the current company

A nice NSD day too :D

Well a nice £5 Mr T voucher received this morning. The only problem is I only go there about once a year; I'm collecting them with a vague aim of swapping them for some tickets of some description, think I've got about £16 of vouchers now

Third NSD in a row for me and no longer have to go away for work so that is good

• bees waxed and polished bedside cabinet
Just had lunch, made a smaller portion than yesterday as just wanted to go to sleep for the rest of the day :o It's a bit early for lunch but I had an earlyish start and forgot to have brekkies

impressive. I never bother to put clean stuff on the guest beds until just before guests arrive - you can guarantee someone will leave the door open and everything will be covered in muddy dog prints if I did.
Oh, and I don't iron ... anything :)
