I think this should become the cleaning thread.....

Natty's Gally's is the food thread

Tilly has the actual MFW thread

AJ has the holiday thread

Fortune has the turning hobbies into pennies thread

I have the spend thread

lol Lula (would do a rolling smiley but they seemed to be out of order at the moment?)

Hmm, I'm not sure cleaning sounds as exciting as the other threads 8:) I don't normally write about cleaning but thought I would log it more for my own satisfaction really as I worked through things. Still lots to do but feeling much more in control now and I'm homing in on the epicentre of the mess/!!!!

My bathroom just about done now
• all tiles cleaned (lots!)
• All units washed including flyovers and lights
• One shower door scrubbed inside and out (still the other one to do)
• Very large mirror cleaned
• Windows and paintwork cleaned
Gawd, what's happened to the weather, in the last 30 mins has turned from lovely to raining stairods

Regards

So, a wee bit about money I suppose

Friday, out for coffee with mother, not too bad, cost £5.50, I paid for both and we got a free top up

Saturday, out for lunch, mine was paid for me which was nice so no cost to me

Tonight I'm out with a friend for a meal but should come in under £20

In the style of Bl@ckadder, I'm brokerer than the brokerest broke thing. Roll on pay day next week, mu accounts look dismal after all that car buying, which by the way, I know have *insert jumping smiley*

For some reason I was in a right grump yesterday afternoon and just can't put my finger on it though suspect it is to do with a current particularly work task that in part i'm putting off a bit and in part is just not flowing as well as I'd like

I did spend a couple of hours batch cooking so my freezer is looking quite respectable again

Congrats on the batch cooking, it's always quite rewarding popping it all in the freezer..... hope you're feeling a little less grumpy now...?

Thanks Tilly, really pleased with the new car

Batch cooking going well though one thing I made for the first time last week and then froze for the first time did not freeze well. Was delicious when fresh and while not too yak when defrosted had somehow gone a bit sloppy :o

Thanks for the dodgy hug, that's appreciated

Re when I said 'pay day next week', seems I can't read a calendar as it's not this week it's next :(

Thanks Lula, feeling a bit less grumpy now though definite grump tendencies around. I've homed in on why and it's definitely a bit of work I've got on the go. You know what it's like, a pretty big bit of work, a number of stakeholders (internal and external), the first time we've tried something like this and I can't control it all :o

Feeling a bit better about though as have two lots of great feedback about it, it seems others think I'm further on that I do so trying to believe their view rather than my own :rotfl:

So, my mantra of 'ensure the house is a bit better than the day before' is going well Currently no clothes drying, nothing in the ironing pile and the only clothes to be washed are the ones I'm standing up in (aka slouched on settee with)

Some unexpected spending abounds at the moment, an old back problem has flared up so £30 already spent this week on treatment, a further £40 today and suspect there will be a couple more like that before the month is out

Also unexpectedly went out for a meal last night which was lovely, spend £10 so not too bad and as I'd expected to spend £20 on Sunday night and only spend £10 I've convinced myself that all is well :p

• Gah, just typed a long post and it's disappeared

In essence it said hi all, still here, spending loads of money and work is wild. The only bright - but ironic - bit at the moment is I got a tax refund of £182. For those of you who have followed my many tax woes you might just get how astounded I was at that :o

Hope you are all well, I'm finding it hard to get the time to post at the moment and also feeling rather frantic as got no idea what's happening to my accounts as had no on-line access to my accounts since 8th September, thanks T5B
