Hello everyone,
Beautiful day here. Been awake since about 5 ish but I didn't bother getting out of bed. Birds are so noisy  I haven't really got any plans for today. I might draft out the pattern for the bean bag and then again I may not.
Icecubequeen Hope you enjoy Lazytown. No hope of it coming here but my DGS would have loved it.
Ruby Have a great time in Devon.
Ivyleaf It's nice to treat yourself. Hope you have more energy this week.
Gena  It takes ages to browse.
Melieka Fingers crossed for you.
<hugs> to Smoky & all those that need one. Hope you get a good nights sleep. Off to browse for a little while and start my day. ByeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Hi all,
Nice day here to-day, not much done except re-arrange two of the downstairs rooms and put beds out of one on freecycle...seems one of them already taken so hopefully that will work, this is my first venture there.
Smoky...thinking of you and yours, hope that you are managing to put one foot in front of the other each day...hugs
Hugs to all in need or want and congratulations to those of you who seem to lead such interesting lives...I seem to be merely a shuttle service for the airport...off there now, Sunday morning and Monday morning...will miss DGDs when they have left, place has been lively with them here.
Sleep well all

Hi guys,
I once again have to say a big thank you to you all, Gingham Ribbon contacted me by pm to send the residue of your collection for the flowers and I am bowled over at your generosity and kindness. Thank you so much for all the support and love you have shown. Thank you all too for the blankets that you are knitting and I promise you that they will be treasured.
My sister and my BIL have taken a firm interest in the children and have organised scouts for the eldest and gymnastic lessons for DD. They are firm that they are going to pay for this and have made the commitment to get them there each week, as well as taking them all out at the weekend to walk the dogs.
My brother took me to Asda today and I was able to get some bits and pieces as well as some new jumpers and shoes for the 2 eldest for school. Also I bought them some new lunchbox bag things and plastic flasks and they will have to start on sandwiches on Tuesday. I will make sure they get a hot meal each night but this will save £68.80 per month.
I very much seem to be on autopilot at the moment, floods of tears arrive unexpectedly and then the phone goes or one of the kids want something and I just have to keep going. I am also so tired - very, very tired. Getting off to sleep is a problem and then staying that way. I am due to see my GP next week and so will see what she suggests. I just keep seeing him there on the day that he died and wish he'd never had the blooming op. He fought so hard and I just wish I could see him again. I miss him so much.

Hi smoky - thanks for keeping us all informed on how you're doing! I hope it helps you to talk about it. Your sis and BIL are being brilliant by the sounds of it helping you to support the kids. I hope the extra money left over from the flowers helps to treat you all as you really deserve it!
I havent done any knitting - not got a clue  but I'm sure the other OSers are clicking away with their needles as we speak!
I hope the doc can help you with your lack of sleep. You need to look after yourself.
You are so brave smoky.
Take care xxxxDo what you love :happyhear0 -

I've typed this out a dozen different ways, but have to accept I don't have the words to say what I want to. You know how much we all care what happens to you and the children. Great news that your sister and BIL are taking such an interest in them. What lovely people they are, I'm sure the children will benefit. This is the sort of support you, and they, need.
Thanks for updating us, take care of yourself. Hopefully the Doctor will be able to help with the sleeping.
Thinking of you,:kisses3:

Thanks so much for keeping in touch with us. I bet half the time you just want to crawl under a rock. That's great news about what your Sis & Bil are doing. The kids will love it and it will be a weight off your mind knowing that they are experiencing new hobbies.
I hope your sleep pattern gets better. It must make it that harder to cope when you feel so weary. Hopefully the dr will recommend something for the time being. I imagine you will have very sad memories for some time about the what-if's but Eric had to have that op by the sounds of it. Life is so unfair at times.
Thinking and praying for you Smoky. xxxDon't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.0 -
Take care smoky. We're always here for you. xxx0

Smoky - what can I say?
when you say about all you can remember is the last day, my friend was the same. She sat for hours watching her wedding video to try and remember what her mum looked like before the ravages of cancer took hold. The good memories will come back Smoky.
your sister sounds fab.. glad to hear you have someone to give such practical help, and so generous of her to help the kids have some fun every week.
take care. we are all still thinking about you xx x x0
