Morning everyone.
Well the kids break up today so 2 weeks of [strike]Hell[/strike]Joy and quality time to come!!!!;)
Ds1 broke up yesterday and we have to go in later to have a target review with his form teacher, hoping it all goes well not sure if ds1 is coming with me as he is still under the weather.
DD gone back to school today for the last day, so i must get as much done as possible today whilst only 1 of them is at home.
This weekend i plan on saturday being a day of getting lots of little jobs that normally get left , and sunday is ds2 semi final, so an exciting day for all of us, seen as ds1 already made it to the finals, lets hope we can do a double!!!
Right off to tidy up and do my hair before i go into school, i have to look half way respectable, i always think i am judged as the one with lots of kids!!!!!:T:rotfl:
Take care

Churchmouse, get that lazy bones husband back out to work just bind his foot up really tight he’ll be alright.:D 6 hours at A&E:eek:

Now I feel even worse:oDH took early retirement last year, and is the least lazy person I know. It's me being rotten because he hasn't been keeping me in coffees like he normally does, or running around like usual. He IS expecting sympathy, and I've decided he can have some for a couple of days.:D
beemuzed, because of the particular bones he's broken, they said no plaster. It's been strapped, and walking on it won't interfere with healing, it's just very painful. Yep, I've certainly noticed how much he normally does:o I'd never have noticed but for this. See I do appreciate him really:D
moanymoany, sorry about your mum. Go with your gut instinct about your sister. In her position would you want to be contacted? (((hugs))
Aussie, so it's heaven next week eh? Sewing and surfing, and all just so you can be quiet;) :rotfl:You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
Morning! :hello: cloudy here but at least it feels warm out. Hugs to those not sleeping well, I know that feeling. Actually last night I did sleep more or less all night, woke a couple of times but managed to go back to sleep eventually, that's good for me, I usually have to get up and wander about/make a cup of tea, etc.
Hugs to Smokey, Churchie's OH (oops!), PP, Martyn and anyone else feeling a bit low/rough.
Well today I have to make a fur throw for my D?Sis's BF. Not at all amused by this idea, she 'volunteered' my services without asking me  and as I know from bitter experience these things are a b*gger to do. Oh well. It's 'easy' sewing, just straight lines but the blooming fur and the velvet backing don't get on at all and if you don't watch out you end up with the whole thing skewed at odd angles. Still hopefully I can get it out of the way today and then it's done. It's beautiful fur fabric, but I shall have to ensure the cat doesn't wrap herself in it and get sewn in by mistake, she is also black and plushy :rotfl: and loves to help me sew.
WM is making horrible noises:mad: so I'm hoping it keeps going, it has lots of towels and shower mats etc to plough through today.
HM bean and cheese wraps for lunch and then fish for supper.
Have a great day everyone.

Morning all.
Got an enexpected day off work.
Dh slipped on the ship & broke his hand. He was getting out of the shower, lol!
So I am going to pick him up from gatwick.
I have hung out 2 loads of washing & emptied the dw.
Just about to do the bins & tidy the area behind the front door that becomes a dumping ground.
Then I shall negotiate the M25 including the horrid QE2 bridge.
Martyn, (((hugs))) for you.
(((hugs))) for all the others in need as well. xxx
Take care all

:
I'm sure he'll get over it. don't give him too much sympathy cos he might get used to it and that is not a good thing for a husband. You have to treat them mean otherwise they might actually feel comfortable enough to think you care about them and then where would we be:rotfl:
Aussie, that picture is truly yeeuch! I prefer my men to be more evolved from their monkey origins. PS. If that is anyone's husband then Im only stating my own opinion and no offence intended:cool:
Have got to go into town and do some shopping. Weather is beautiful here again today and as i worked my proverbials off yesterday, I've only had to put out the washload today so am now going to make the most of my last day of solitude and wander round doing nothing in particular.
Have a great day everyone and I'll catch up with you all again later

Morning all !
Chilly day and looks like we're in for a weekend of what they laughingly call 'winter showers'..............lol
Lady coming from don'tdumpthat site this afternoon to relieve me of wine making kit, plastic flower pots and wine bottles. Advertised the 'leftovers' of stuff in Dads suitcase, music etc. but no-one's replied yet..........still early days and I must be prepared to maybe have to dump the whole lot in the wheelie bin ! Not sure how long to hang on to it for.............just as I get a clear space it ends up getting filled with 'stuff' that waiting for 'possible interested person to collect !
Oh well, such is life...............mustn't dwell on it otherwise I'll start getting too fond of it all and it'll never leave the house..............lol
Hope you all have a good day and hugs (((((((((((:o )))))))))) to those who need themMary
I'm creative -you can't expect me to be neat too !
