    Evening Gals & Guys ;)

Am posting tonight from our hotel room in Southampton...well between there and Salisbury, very moneysaving, free wireless internet in the rooms :D and i booked through Quidco so hopefully will get some cashback also.
The drive down was ok, we packed sandwiches etc, so only stopped for a coffee.

Aussie, if it wasn't for the 3 and that the chap in todays picture is a bit larger than Mt Twit, I would think you had been spying on him.
Mr CM, hope the foot feels better soon and Mrs CM keeps you well supplied in coffee, biccies and HM bread.
    Pen-Pin, enjoy your break.
    RedRuby, enjoy yours also.
Hester, word fail me. I did wave as we travelled south.

Big hugs to Smoky and Martyn and those who are also in need. :grouphug:

    Hi Everyone,
Its been really nice enjoying the sunshine today. I took my DS to the park with his friend and had a good time. I also went to a local charity furniture place and got a really nice pine book unit for £15. I had been eyeing one up in Argos for around £40, so this has saved me some money.
I hope everyone is keeping okay today, as I have only really skimmed the thread. I'm off now to wrap up some books for readitswapit, so looking forward to getting some new stuff to go on my bookunit.

    Best Wishes
    Powie

    Evening all

hope everyone's ok - have sort of skimmed the thread so will just fling out random hugs here and there - catch one if you need it

Today's excitement was that exoh was meant to be picking up dd (11) and her friend from school at 2pm . well he waited and waited and when the playground cleared found that he was alone. phoned me in a mad panic so i suggested he ring the girls. They had "forgotten" to wait for him and nipped through the fence between the friend's back garden and the playground - the naughty girls. i called dd to give her a b******ing but she was already in the middle of one from her dad. He picked the girls up and took them swimming but when the mother of the other girl came home she found that her daughter had left the front door unlocked - this was their first go at being independent misses so I think it will be a bit of a while before their next attempt

tomorrow am meeting dbro and his family to take our dr who obsessed kids to the exhibition at earls court - am looking forward to seeing dbro - expect the exhibition will be dull for most of us. I have so far today been reminded 56 times that we have to get back by 18.20 for the start of the new series.

OS wise .... er exoh bought pasta and chicken for tea
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
