Morning peeps :j
My nose and face is finally starting to feel better, you don't realise how much you move and use your nose till it hurts to do so lol Got a few more days on the antibiotics then it should be back to normal.
Out tonight for a meal then cinema for a friend's birthday, plan to cook OH and kids pizzas before I go, so need to pop out to Tesco later to get some pepperoni and pineapple as its the only thing they like on pizzas
Going to go for a walk in the woods later to feed the ducks, kids haven't been out much this week so could do with a nice walk around the woods for a bit of fresh air.
Listed something on Freecycle yesterday and was surprised how quick it went. It was only a fish tank, which had a crack in it. Was gonna take it to the tip, but thought I would list it on Freecycle to see if there were any takers, and within an hr of sending the post, it was listed, taken for, and collected. I've listed stuff before but had no takers, so was surprised how quick this item went, eventhough it was damaged. Thats saved me a trip to the tip with it, so happy all round
Tomorrow we are off to Plymouth for the day, have tickets for Lazytown Live at the pavilions, so catching the train up in morn, will have a mooch around the shops then KFC for lunch. Not too sure what the kids we make of the show, DS5 has grown out of Lazytown since I booked the tickets, so doubt he will be that interested, but DS4 still seems to like it. Well I know I will enjoy it, Im sure other mums will agreed, Sportacus is worth watching:rotfl:
Right im off to have a shower, tis nearly 11am and havent done anything today
Hugs to all,

Morning everybody :hello:
I did read the end of last night's thread but couldn't post as I was browsing it on my mobile while on the train, and on my phone it doesn't let me keep the "Remember me?" box selected when I log in, so I rarely bother doing anything but browsing except when I'm at an actual computer. Anyway Martyn, I wanted to let you know that depression is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. I haven't had it myself, but it's just an illness like any other. You wouldn't be embarrassed if you'd been told you'd got a physical illness, would you? Anyway, big hugs to you as always, and I hope you are feeling better soon.
I overslept this morning and didn't get into work until 9:40
I'm off to a family gathering tonight. My aunt and uncle who have been doing missionary work in Chile for over 30 years are in the UK at the moment taking care of some admin matters in relation to their retirement. They were planning to retire to the UK, but eventually decided against it as their DS1 & DS2 are based in Santiago with families of their own. Their DS3 is coming back to the UK to study, so I should see more of him :j Anyway, tonight I should be seeing my aunt and uncle, the friends they're staying with, my brother, my mum, my cousin K who lives near me, and I'm not sure who else :j :j
Churchmouse - whoopsHugs to your DH (though it's up to you whether you decide to pass on all the hugging-messages from all us other women
)
I might have a look at joining the Wooligans :j I haven't knitted in at least 15 years and was never very good - I've certainly forgotten how to cast on! - but I've just remembered that on one of the piles of books I'm mid-sorting-out is a beginner's guide to knitting! So will dig that out and have a look.
See you later

Afternoon Everyone
Tried to post this morning but the site threw me out. I have done b all this morning so need to get motivated this afternoon. Just eating a ham sandwich with dd then I'm going to tackle the mess.
Tea is going to be Beef burgers on buns with chips and corn on the cob. 2 of the burgers have chilli in them so I need to make sure dd doesnt get those, but I didnt label them before I froze them so I'm not sure which are which at the moment
Have a good day everyoneSorting my life out one day at a time0 -
Afternoon Everyone :hello:
Not posted for a couple of days, busy at work this week so no real time for OS. Managed to get a load of washing done and hung on the airer before work so that should be semi dry by the time I get home.
Am looking forward to the weekend to play catch up and do some baking, BM did a loaf Wed night so that was sliced up and frozed ready for lunches this week and next. DS on school hols for 2 weeks after today, am only in the office til Wed so looking forward to spending some time with him after that.
Not sure what's for dinner, something with new potatoes cause they need to be used. Must also get my head round a meal plan for this month too!:o
Can I offer a general hug to everyone in need, including hubbies, children and relatives as I have just skimmed the thread and know there are a few people suffering.
Special mention to Smoky, you are an incredibly brave woman and I take my hat off to you.
Hugs to Martyn, hope you manage to get into a routine with the tablets and that they work for you, as I have previously said to you, my sister is on anti-depressants and there is no stigma involved these days. Fingers crossed that they work for you.
For those about to depart on holidays, have a fantastic time (I am not jealous - much!!) although I do have my holiday to look forward to but that won't be til Christmas time!
Take care, one and all and have a fabulous Friday.

Afternoon everyone
Haven't posted or even read the OS Daily for a whileJust had to have a quick catch up with some old Daily threads to try and make up for it!
I'm sitting here at work waiting for some feeling to come back into my lips and tongue - no, I've not been to the dentist, I had pasta salad for lunch made with HM tomato pasta sauce...OH assembled the pasta salad this morning, and thought that as I have a stinking cold at the moment he'd add plenty of chilli flakes to the sauce to give me "a boost and clear things out a bit" (His exact words)...As much as I love chilli he went a bit OTT though, bless himOf course being at work I haven't got any ice cream or mayo on standby, and I hate milk as a drink, and don't think I could get away with just sticking my tongue in the bottle...
Doesn't help either that I've got a wisdom tooth coming through - thought I'd be a bit old by now at 28 for new teethThink I'll stop off at one of the supermarkets on the way home for some sore mouth gel...anyone got a spare teething ring for me to chomp on? :rotfl:
Still haven't got over Wednesday night's Apprentice - WHAT WAS SIR ALAN THINKING??? Really looking forward to Doctor Who tomorrow night...wine is in the fridge ready...
Can't remember what we are having for dinner tonight, think it's roasted pepper and courgette frittata..got a load of courgettes reduced in Sainsburys last week and am still trying to use them up...Think OH is finally learning that if he hangs his shirts on a hanger as soon as he gets them out of the machine, chances are he won't have to iron them when they are dry
Bought a brand new bottle of Benefit She Laq on eBay this week which arrived this morning - I tend to squint a lot in the sunshine (even with sunglasses on) which makes my eyes water, and they also water really easily in the wind - As I have no intention of not wearing makeup each day, I have to find a way of making it stay, so She Laq here I come...Not sure whether I'm supposed to apply it before or after applying makeup, but I'll work it out!
Lots of hugs to everyone who needs them/wants them :grouphug:DFW no.554 - Proud to be dealing with my debts :TDAVID TENNANT CAN PROBE ME WITH HIS SONIC SCREWDRIVER ANYTIME...:AFLYING THE FLAG FOR THE CAMBRIDGE BOOTS TARTS :happyhear0
