I would urge all to not waste your time with customer services, they don't care - call VM's retentions department, it is their job to retain customers and they can actually do something.
Work on the fact that Virgin Media are desperate to hold onto your broadband and landline business because they've invested a lot in their cable networks.
Their mobile service is simply a resell of tmobile so they think they can afford to lose a few customers. So let them know that if you go you will take your broadband and landline service with you. I bet they will offer you your rollover minutes back.
I will be calling on monday and I expect to report back that I at least get this reversed if not an even better deal.
OMG! You've got your head in the clouds mate....
1) Name one other provider that gives you this great deal
2)Must be the way you speak to Customer Services, I Think they're fantastic.
3) YOU WILL NOT get your rollover back because there would be no way technically of doing it (Unless of course you think you know the systems that they need to work with??? No Didn't think so!0 -
I did not know that if you had a contract with anyone that they could change the terms to your disadvantage.
BTW I am on a 6 month contract with them and have not been told this.
A contract is different to a SIM Only package.
A contract gives you a fixed monthly term, a SIM Only package does not (Unless stated within the paperwork or e-mail)0 -

you arrogant T^^t!
As expected cust services couldn't/wouldn't do anything but VM retentions were much more willing to hold onto my business and I got offered a £2 pm reduction on my VM bill for 12 months.
However, I dont like my suppliers changing terms on me with a 'take or leave it attitude' so I will be checking out the alternatives for all my services with VM.0 -
Actually, I wonder if this is legal for any company?
As you've actually paid for the minutes and texts - as in gas and electricity supply - I wonder if it is legal for them to delete unused supply at the end of the month?
I'd like to see someone test this in court! The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.0 -

Further VM price increases etc for other services announced here
