reddwarf, i just called and the best they could offer me was £49.99 for the handset and a reduction on my mounthly payments or extra text messages, but i found it on virgin for £30 but you get 8 months half price line rental but virgin reception is rubbish in my are, i called o2 with details of this deal so they could match it as promised and guess what, they said they can't drop the handset below £49.99!!!!Running total for swagbucks - £270 since Jan

dragonfly,
I think it's best to wait a couple of weeks for the dust to settle...as the phone has just been released O2 are trying to make a few bucks!
I may yet go for the K750i if they don't budge on the price. I think I should be able to get the k750i for free when they re-instate it...0 -
dragonfly,
e2save have it for £29 on Iin stock onLeisuretime"]In stock on Leisuretime Plus and free on other tariffs.
Just means you cancel your current contract and take out another . It means having a 30 day overlap, I did it as we wanted the phone quickly and it was here in 24 hrs.
You can port your present number to an old payg phone then back to O2 later if you want to keep your old number,ac's lovechild0 -

ok so i got a w800i on the way now, through my normal provider! I will be changed to the £25 tarrif with 500 mins and 200 text for 6 months then i will drop the tarrif, my normal tarrif is £16 but i end up spending another £15 on text messages so with 200 i should end up paying less! oh and the handset is free (they said i couldn't up my tarrif last night in order to get the handset free) i can't beleive they turned down extra money lmao, but never mind i've got it now.
Reddwarf as i said before, i was on the lowest tarrif and got a k750i free on my £16 ppm tariff so i'd say if its the k750i that you want don't settle unless they offer you at least a free handset, also they said the k750 will be back in stock next week now they have sorted the probs with itRunning total for swagbucks - £270 since Jan

Have I just got a lucky break?????? I just upgraded on Vodafone to the Samsung Z500. Looked great, MP3, camera datalink cables etc. 125 x network, 250 texts etc £20 a month.
But the software did not work on the PC and Samsung said there was a fault and so what a load of pants!!!
I called Vod again and told them it was crap and I wanted to return it (14 day thingy) and they allowed me to have the 800i for free. same contact as above. It seems to have far better features and a MP3 player with large 516 storage.
I think I feel as though I did OK
:jNO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0 -

Many thanks0 -
