    What to Do now?

    Shall i refund original buyer now with Reason due to abuse;
Or play the game and go down lost in post.
I'm old enough & wise enough to know that honesty isn't always the best policy.
BUT.. I am pretty honest and feel justified in the decision, even if it is against ebay rules.
I have sold to 2nd chance buyer so there is no going back from that.
What would you do & Why?
And thank you to everyone who has offered advice.

I have several cats. They are not the most continent cats in the world.

One time I had a purchase that was not going to end satisfactorily. Icould tell by the tone of the purchaser.

It was just pure bad luck that the cat !!!!!! all over the merchandise.

I emailed the seller saying that I could not sell the item now as it was covered in very smelly stuff. I was getting the items ready to wrap and they all got covered in Tom cat spray.

Buyer concured and accepted immediate refund and profuse apologies.

The original buyer has also paid, separately for each item, although I sent a combined invoice (she stated in her last email she had done this purposly to ensure my paypal fees are higher) That is just a small insight to her mentality and bitterness.

OMG she really is petty. She deserves what you are doing. ooops. Is the item something you could easily of had more of? If so then you could use this as the reason for doing a 2nd chance offer.

Yep, she is vile. I would never ever of even known that to be true in 1 million years! I would not have given the separate transactions a second thought, but, she wanted me to know! She also requested they were packaged separately.

I would bet my life she is an MSE with knowledge like that, so could post more extracts but won't!

She is honestly the most hostile person I have come accross and not just on eBay!

The items couldn't really be passed off as multiples as they are my personal belonging, so that is where it is tricky to have sold them over again.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts anyhow!

I would go down the lost in post route. If you refund now and add a reason she might be able to hit you with a non performing seller.....I'm not 100% sure though.

As for blocking her email address...when you have an email from her, go to the very top of outlook express and you will have some options, file, edit view etc. Click on message then click on block sender. That will then filter out her emails to your deleted folder without you seeing them. I'm not 100% sure if she gets an email to say she is blocked as I only ever block spam companies.

Personally I would not bother making any more excuses to vile woman, just wait for the message when her item doesnt show. Or just refund her and take the neg at least you can still neg her back. lol. Maybe if you choose 1st option you could just be honest with the 2nd chance offer and tell her the truth about this vile woman, tell her that you are having problems with abuse and that the reason you offered her 2nd chance was because you are refusing to deal with her. Ask if they would mind if you delay leaving the feedback for each other until she has got over it. Its only the FB that will drop you in it I cant imagine this woman checking up on you in a month or so, she'll be harrassing some other poor person by then.

TBH, if a seller was unwilling to combines postage i'd expect each item to be sent separetely if thats what I was paying for. But, I check first before bidding and dont bid if postage isnt combined.

You know what? Life's too short. Send her the stuff, in three seperate packages if that's what she wants and has paid for. At least then you can hold your head up high in the certain knowledge you've behaved fairly and reasonably. Why descend to her level? Yeah, she may neg you. Neg her back. Then walk away from it. She really is not worth being the cause of you letting yourself down when it comes to your personal integrity.

Karma will get her in the end, never fear.

Even if P&P was clealy fair & not inflated, items were Exactly what you wanted & Going for a low Price? Interesting outlook and fair enough.

An example 2 items at 20.00 each combined & packaged together are not covered by standard post. (Cover is Max 34.00) They will require insurance for loss or damage. Without it it is the seller loss not the buyer who would be granted a full refund. Should the original (fair) standard P&P go up or down?

Whilst I would never expect a seller to combine postage I would not expect them then to save on paypal fees by sending me a combined invoice..and I would make a point of paying for each item seperately. I would also expect my items to be sent seperately, if that is what I have paid for.

I would also caution against following any of the dodgy suggestions about pretending item lost in post. if you have a PITA buyer why on earth would you consider lowering yourself to their level just to make a point?

Refund, explain you have no confidence in her and refuse to sell, and move on.

Thanks I feel the same to some degree and can't believe how much time i've spent discussing it although i did ask for advice and it has been welcome.
