If I were you if you are not bothered about feedback or her reporting you...I would just say sorry I'm not selling to you due to abuse...
It may make her think twice in future, then leave her a negative
Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D

For the pursely nosey side of me, give us a sample of her emails :D

Sounds like you are taking the right course of action. her username would be useful so we could all block her lol

There are just some buyers that you know are going to be trouble and pulling out of the sale will probably be the cheapest in the long run. Thre fact tha she is selling the same as you increases the chances that they will switch and return a broken item.

I have had exactly the same problem about not combining postage. I said I wanted her to pay the full amount within 7 days (knowing full well she would'nt), she didn't and so I left her 8 negatives and opened a dispute. She left me 8 negatives, but mine are the only 8 I have, she's on about 14 or 15 and quite a lot recently too, so buyers know who to trust and who not to when they see feedback like that. I'd suggest you go down the same route i did

Is it possible to leave a neg for a buyer these days, I've read some recent discusion on here about new feedback rules and that this option has been removed, i've never had cause to leave a buyer neg so I don't know if this is possible, can anyone confirm?

I've offered second chance to the other bidder who also bid on both items and she has paid straight away, no fuss no arguments about P&P... Bliss!

The original buyer has also paid, separately for each item, although I sent a combined invoice (she stated in her last email she had done this purposly to ensure my paypal fees are higher) That is just a small insight to hr mentality and bitterness.

She obviously thinks I'm over a barrel and will have to supply the items, I can possibly create more problems for myself by selling them second chance.

I dont mind the neg, i will add a note to it. My feedback is really good, lots of personal detailed comments about each item i've sold as opposed to generic Great Ebayer, A++++ and that sort of thing, so the neg will stand out as uncharactoristic.

I am concerned of a suspension as I still have live listings, I am having a huge clearout, I sell only my personal items no longer in use, I'm not a business seller

Is the worst case scenario a neg? I hope so.

I actually hate her ha ha is it possible to hate someone you never met?

Thanks I've done that. Can I block her from my personal email? Off Topic now but does anyone know how to do that. I've an NTL address and use outlook express and am a hopeless Non Techie.

This is not a recommended action and I'm sure there will be complaints for me suggesting it but you could:

    Accept the payment
Send her an email to say it will be posted on Tuesday
Mark the item as paid and dispatched
    Don't send it
When she complains the item has not been received refund

Then when she's leaves her feedback you can just reply item lost in post payment refunded.

Im not ashamed to admit this, but I have done exactly this on my last 3 sales that have been from Italian buyers. I can't block Italy specifically, so this is the only thing I can do.

I relist the item on a spare account, or do a second chance offer to the next highest non-italian buyer.

Yep - buyers can till be negged up until May - the exact date has not yet been clarified by eBay, but I think a lot of people are under the impression that it has already taken effect - which may also have led to the increase in bullying buyers.

OMG she really is petty. She deserves what you are doing. ooops. Is the item something you could easily of had more of? If so then you could use this as the reason for doing a 2nd chance offer.

You can block her emails, I am not sure how with your provider but if you have a look around your page you should find it, if not look and see if you have a help page available. I think if you dont block her you will be looking at some abusive emails in a few days, worst case dont bother to read them just hit delete. :D
