Hi, yes i guess someone always has to come second, im having my consolation prize now, glass of red wine.
Thanks for your commiserations, you've been great, DD is out practicing for her modelling asignment for hairdressing competition, she's the model for the hairstyle, has to wear evening dress, supplied thankfully but i had to supply gold shoes and bling...... found a fab pair of pale gold satin stilletoes in Marie Curie shop yesterday £4.99!!:j Just need a visit to Primark now for some Bling.

Feeling a bit down now as I'm on my own, no job, no DD and no BF.

Well......bad news they decided to offer the job to the other person. Personally - I wouldnt start feeling "gutted" about not getting it till a week or two has passed. You just never know.....it does occasionally happen that the successful applicant decides not to take the job after all....or takes it, but hops back out again a couple of weeks later. No point in raising false hopes - but still a trifle early yet to decide for 100% definite you havent got the job yet.

I say that - because I've been second choice before now - but did end up getting the job.

Anyways..... where theres a swallow - there could be a flock of them to coin a phrase. Could well be a better job is just round the corner....just keep hanging on in there trying.

The 22nd isnt forever away now - stay strong.

Ah bad luck chick, feeling any better about it today?
It's a good sign if it was so close, least you know you've got all the skills and qualities for such a job and you never know what fantastic job is on the horizon! As they say, every cloud has a silver lining, onwards & upwards;)

I'm here waiting with you Pennywise

I can't tell from caroleann's post whether it's a good development or bad.

My fingers are crossed over here caroleann that this guy has done good by you and starting the divorce ball rolling again.
