    Morning all,

Mioliere. What stitch do we do these squares in?
Smokey Glad the trachy went well and that you have been given leave. I hope the meds take the edge off your panic attacks.

I am up bright and early this morning - OH got up at 5am for work, but because the water was off yesterday I did not wash his work clothes until quite late, so consequently they were slightly damp this morning. Boy, did he go off on one!! Ranting about how lazy/slovenly/messy/disorganised I am (just what I needed at about half 5, or anytime for that matter).'Whatever' - so I just got up and ironed his clothes dry.

Anyway, since then I have put the rubbish out, stuck a load of washing on (as the water is off again today), and stuck the rest of the wet washing on the airers. I might clean the bathroom in a minute. I am working at 12, but need to pop into Liskeard to post OHs driving licence form (it has been sat on the table for 2 weeks, and he only bothered to fill it in last night, so there is quite a good chance he won't get it back in time - so when he says I am disorganised, it really is the pot calling the kettle black)

Anyway, hope you all have a super day :D

    Hi everyone
    Aussie - conversation chart here.
Redruby - as for the duck, I would not have consider to cook it in the slow cooker, but found a recipe here.
Blairweech - ((hugs)) sorry mate but more fool you. You are not his slave. You both work and therefore the house is not yours alone, if you give in to his ranting/kicking off he will only do it more.

    Smokybabe (((((((hugs)))))))

Amie - glad to see you back again, well done on the weight loss, do you think you can make your font big enough for us oldies??

(((hugs))) if you want/needs one help yourselves, and Hi to everyone else hussies or not!

Very windy here atm, the builder didn't get back to the ridge tile yesterday, though I did get the WM back, the fence staining/protection was started by DH but they are safely in the garage, and the plastic onthe back on screwed this time so hope they hold.

Still searching round for car insurance to include DS, not cheap nearly as much as the car is worth.

Must tackle Talk-Talk today, they either give me free BB as originally promised or I take my line back to BT and start again.

Off to hairdressers in half an hour.

    Morning all.

Didn't have a very good night, someone, ahem, advised me to eat a block of lard to cheer myself up. I did, it didn't. I was sick :o  :rotfl:

It's a cracking day down here at the mo, blue sky and sunshine and just a breeze. The plan today, if I can muster the energy, is to take the dogs out for a loooooooooooooong walk through the forest, carry on sorting and reply to all the folks on the diving forum who are interested in the dive kit I've advertised for sale. I honestly don't want to sell it but sadly, the debts have to go so needs must. And hopefully get my awning put up. The sooner I move into the motorhome, the better for my sanity, (what's left of it :p )

Have a great day one and all and remember, don't eat lard or yellow snow, they'll both make you sick :o

    I've been Money Tipped!
    :hello: Morning!

Very blustery here, puppy keeps barking at the wind :rolleyes: think I will delay that walk for now.

Mouth a bit better today and I have managed some oatabix and feel much happier. This bridge feels like a much better fit so hopefully mouth will settle down soon. I have hm soup for lunch and leftover stew for dinner so don't have to cook!:j

Got to spend some time getting through to drs for oh so that will be the morning gone so will miss toddler group today but probably as well as dentist appointments do take it out of me, must be the stress! anyway more time to knit!;) I need to go find out what warm colours I have in my "stash" of yarn upstairs. I know I have some red dk in there! This will be a good way to practice some patterns though I think I will start with good old garter stitch for now.

((((hugs)))) to Smokey you are still in my thoughts and prayers

(((hugs))) to all Mrs Mix, Benthosboy, PP, Jayward and anyone who needs them including Pennywatchers dd - I think a cuddle from a furbaby puppy should do the trick!

    Stay safe!

  • Morning all and hugs to those who need them.

Very windy here this morning, really not looking forward to going out on my crutches, can see them flying out my hand!!

Off to the hospital today, hopefully my last stomach injections as my INR levels are within range.:j

Had a lovely day yesterday, rather than get a taxi to the hospital I tried out the local buses. Me and the Mother-in-law travelled on 4 altogether and ended up at Tesco for a cuppa and a few bits. Mind you I was shattered and fell asleep at 8pm:o

Plans for today after hospital is too put a load in the WM and sort out the washed pile ready for DH to iron tonight. DD is swimming with Scouts tonight so something light for tea.

Hope you all have a good day

    Sharon.
  • Morning all, super quick post from me today as i'm off to Glasgow in a minute :j

(((hugs))) to Smoky as always, hoping for an improvement for your OH asap.

Hugs to anyone who needs them, need to catch up on yesterday really but haven't had chance so far, just looked for Smoky's update.

Very busy day yesterday running here, there and everywhere so looking forward to a little break :)

Will catch up on Friday when i get back, take care everyone :)

BLAIRWEECH - any stitch you like! Let your imagination run riot!

I've had a thought - do you think doing this blanket is against MSE rules; I've just read that we shouldn't use the forum, even pm'ing, to give out addresses but I will need to pm mine for you all to send the squares to me. I have to go out in a minute - when I come back I'll see if I can ask someone.

BENTHOSBOY - glad you sound a little more positive this morning, enjoy your walk. If you sell your diving kit now, it will be part of the path towards sorting everything else out and I'm sure you'll be able to buy another one when you've the time and piece of mind to enjoy it. Just look at it as a temporary loss. (((Hugs))) to you and don't forget, you've got friends here.

    Morning :hello:

Hope you're all surviving your wind. :p
Thanks for the update Smoky. Take care . xxx
Aussie. Sorry about your hair. If all else fails Pink will lend you this. She uses it for the school run most mornings. ;)

Pretty average morning here. Beds are made, washing is on and DW emptied.
I'm going into town at 10 then need to spend some time working on office work for OH.
    Can't remember what's for tea atm. :o but I'm sure it's something exciting. :D

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hi everyone

amie - well done on the weightloss

smokey - great news that your GP has been so sympathetic and understanding. We are still all thinking of you and your family

Martyn - lard is not a good thing any time of the day - let alone late at night before bed! Naughty Blairweech for suggesting it (althought the cream bun was a good suggestion! ;) )

Busy day again today and I just know its going to be one of those where i am busy, but nothing ACTUALLY gets done! Oh well........

    see you all later x
