Oh Yes, that old chestnut! World Economic Forum in Davos, anyone? No?Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...0 -
There are never enough places to plug things in - I take an extension block.
I don't like noise, some rooms have walls like paper and I hear more than I wish to:eek:
Hearing wedding parties on a Saturday night - OK I am cool with them having them but why do we have to hear them in the rooms? And the people usually giggle and shout loudly in the corridors - eff off, we are trying to sleep you inconsiderate c nuts
Mini bars that charge if you move anything.
Cleaners who don't clean the room whilst I am out and want to when I am usually in the loo.
People telling me where to sit for breakfast when the table is free and has no reason not to be used. I am grumpy enough in the mornings without some teenager telling me where to sit.:(An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T

I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.0 -

Completely agree with this one!! ...even more interesting when you explain to them that you don't have a credit card and your bank won't allow you to have a debit card! ....some people just assume I'm credit worthy!
If you don't want to know my opinion, don't ask for it!0 -
Those stupid cartons of UHT milk that are WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY out of date:mad:
In fact...just UHT milk generally! :rolleyes:0 -
If the lady doesn't show up and hasn't rung or even texted to let you know.
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

When you finally get to your room after a long tiring journey, you find the keycard doesn't work and have to traipse back to reception with your luggage again... happens to me more often than not, am I just unlucky?

Not just you, I've had it a few times, damn nuisance, and you get all hot and bothered by the time you eventually get in.Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -
So frustrating that one. which is why you get situations like post no.14;)Stephen_Leak wrote: »If the lady doesn't show up and hasn't rung or even texted to let you know.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
Yes, hate blankets - who has them now? Blankets in hotels must be centuries old and crawling - eeoow!
Those horrid hairy blankets (usually yellow, brown and orange, yuk!) you find folded up in the top of the wardrobe/cupboard.......who actually uses these? I've even found them in a 4* hotel!
Finding window frames have been nailed to a certain point so you can't open the window properly and get fresh air. Obviously meant to be a deterrant to smokers, but if you want air, you should be able to have air!
Also hotels that offer twin rooms but one of the beds is a sofa
I thought the point of the fixed windows was to deter suicides, but could be wrong.0
