I have googled them and all I can find is a post from a disappointed footie fan implying that the company sell tickets they don't have and let you down at the last minute - oh, and there's the link to this thread of course confirming that they are con artists.

You'd have thought that with all the tickets they sell there would be a lot more posts about them not delivering the goods - I agree they are expensive but this is not a discussion about profiteering - some people are willing to pay if they want something bad enough, if they get the expensive ticket then all's well.

I'm probably just trying to say that whilst its fine to advise people to be cautious about where to purchase tickets surely you can't just go round posting that people are con artists without any proof?

As for getting pre sale tickets which are sold just after the festivals, just look at the official websites and you'll find info.

Try buying tickets from them, put in your email address and fake card etc, you'll get a confimation email advising of your purchase. I'm out of pocket over 300 from summerfestivaltickets, all this makes me say, go to legit agents, and paperticket.co.uk are not authorised to sell them, a coldplay site flags it too.

Also, about the point you said about the footy fan let down last minute, that is the scam, its just the v festival was more popular, and 1000's of us were conned. One footy fan from Portsmouth, 1000 V festiavl goers, same result..Let down, no refund....

Theyre called newspapers, Internet, television and just about everyone on here who HAS been conned by them. Why dont you buy a few tickets off them and make some profit out of it...I think the majority in here, might find amusing

DO NOT USE THEM, read all these 15 pages, they are ticket touts, rude obnoxious and con artists who will steal your money and let you down for the concert you had planned for that special person!

Thanks...eventually! No worries, easy to think of good in people, but these touts have elevated to scams on the net, and over 20400 have now viewed this thread, this is post #302, so I guess the message is out there. V2008 and Reading were done, I'm sure more will appear, please update this thread if you have 1) got a refund from bank, 2) got any refund from the websites (summerfestivaltickets.com or paperticket.co.uk) or 3) had any news from media/police etc with regard to your cases, and 4) just been conned by these or any other sites. I hope someone has the means to set up an e petition which we could send to watchdog/government, to regulate the sale of tickets, to avoid this for others in future. Signing off now, I will update WHEN I get the refund from HSBC.
