Also, I visited their office today in Mayfair (8 Shepherd's Market). It's a PO Box address - the people there said they had received mail for sft, but they were not registered there, and that they were returning any mail.All very frustrating, as sft are not answering their phones or emails, and the website is down now too.

SFT also have their own headline on the site efestivals.co.uk.....people saying exactly the same thing funny enough!!!! like you say need too get everyone in together somehow.
I've also had the e mail stating a full refund will be given but I don't believe them, it's just a way to make it look like it's not their fault and and that legally they have done everything they can and played by the book, which of course we all know is bull sh#!t!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Has anyone had a response from watchdog?????

Hey All,
You can add me to the list of casualties. Although I didn't personally carry out the transaction by mate bought 4 tickets a while back and has had the 'we've been let down' e-mail from them.
I'm not working at the moment so I've volunteered to kick up a fuss on their behalf. They are already speaking to their bank about a refund as although they paid with their debit card, they have a Premier account so might have more luck??
I will contact the police and trading standards etc. Between the 4 of us we have lost about £700 :-(
Please feel free to add us to your list and I'll keep an eye on the site to see if you need any more evidence to take these bastids down!!

Read this, what a joke they claim to have offices in New York, L.A and Mayfair London!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and 100% customer satisfaction. surely the fact that we KNOW that the "office" in mayfair is only a PO box must count towards misrepresention at least?

I have also lost out on £680 and (4) V tkts because of 'summerfestivals'.

I have received the same emails too through paying by debit card and not cc.

The address in Harrow however is for Durben V and although it seems like they may be at the root they do not seem to have any solid link to summerfestivals as they look like they are just 'hosting' the website/web name etc. rather than actually running it? :-s

I will also have to report what's happened to trading standards etc. and the police.

Does anyone know the best way to go about reporting this to the police, and any other watchdog, or trading standards? I am guessing you dont call 999, but I would like to contribute in anyway to make sure this can't happen again.

the best way to contact your local poice is to either walk into the station or call them, you should be able to look their number up on the web.

I received an E mail from D.V saying they had insructed SFT to refund, and that i had alot of my facts wrong!!!!!! i replyed asking them to put me right on my facts to which there they didn't reply.....they are one and the same, I would put my last pound on it........if they hadn't pinched it!!!!!!
