linpen and jaymmu- i doubt a company could refund to a card that had been changed - but that's not down to any specific knowledge. Still most likely a delaying tactic on their part. jaymmu, how much did you lose?
Jake - Probably best to report to your local police. This is gaining more attention - Essex FM radio and london local newspaper - it's likely that even if you are the first to report in your area you won't be the last.
Cacciotti - like quite a few of us we paid on our debit cards and won't get tickets. It could be quite dificult to get the money back as the banks aren't too interested. The best outcome would be the police prosecuting them and us being compensated. Could be a while though. Contact the police.
the last unicorn - the only thing you haven't done is to contact the police.Speculate to accumulate, Rodney. He who dares wins.0 -
Two of my other friends also bought tickets from this site for £350, fortunately with a credit card so will get their money back, but u can add that to the list of ppl that have been conned.0

You have been given a refund and all you need to do is be patient instead of causing
a fuss like a spoilt little child!
Why don't you just contact Multicards and see for yourself!0 -

Pleased so many people are coming forward
Event organisers also need to be taking stock of what has happened NOT just counting their profits
I have printed off all the emails from the sft along with info form this site and i am gioing to present this to my MP - trying to raise awareness and support in every area possible
If it happened last year, again this year something NOW needs to be done cos otherwise it will be the same next year
LETS KEEP UP THE PRESSURE - SID YOU ARE A STAR - cheers0 -
Hi all.
I suggested they combine threads - someone started a similar one in warnings and rip-offs - which may be a bit more apt.
I have police interview saturday - hope this gets things moving.
Tally so far:
14 people - Total Money 9773
Any missing?
I think this is the tip of the iceberg!Speculate to accumulate, Rodney. He who dares wins.0 -
I am another person who booked four tickets to Reading via SFT, and have been told as of today that there are no tickets. I am at least lucky enough to know that I will be getting the money back, as the cc company have already confirmed this, but I am another peron to add to the list of the conned.
What makes it worse, is that I have a friend whom I went to Leeds with last year, who got their tickets from this website. So like an idiot I ignored what I saw on a few forums and trusted my friend.0 -

I have also been scammed - 2 tickets at £175 each, so please add my £350 to the list...0
