Petal-wooden venetians
Well we have tried everything...those little gadgets that go in between the slats...rubbish.....damp cloth....leaves streaky.....vinegar solution.....leaves streaky.
The best method we use is to spray with normal furniture polish and wipe with a clean dry duster. This deflects the dust and stops it drawing to the wooden slats....can get away with once a week-before had to do it 2-3 times a week

I use cheap baby wipes on the ones at mams and the ones we used to have. I didnt have any problem with streaking so it might be worth a try of them.0

Morning all, sorry I haven't been around much lately, things have been a little skewy lately, but I have been on the phone to my breast care nurse all morning and am slowly getting things sorted. I also have an appointment with my doctor next week to see if I can get counselling to sort my head out. My control freak tendencies have hit an all time high and are currently destroying my marriage so old style has been the least of my priorities I'm afraid
Just hope DH willl bear with me until I can get the counselling and get my head sortedOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

Thinking of you.I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are – Milton Berle0 -

Morning everyone! :hello:
I'm in AGONY todayOur friend with the apple trees rang us up yesterday afternoon asking us to come and strip the apple trees. She's sick of windfalls all over her grass. So yesterday evening i spent absolutely stripping the trees of apples. 4 trays of hand picked apples & 10 carrier bags of windfalls later...... no guesses what i'll be doing every evening for a week!!!!
Climbing up step ladders didn't do me much good so i'll be taking it easy today (and tomorrow) thank goodness i had the kids who i could bribe to bend down and pick all the apples from the floor!
Washing hung out on the line, yogurt maker switched on, slow cooker on (baked apples with mincement from the OS index). Popping out for an appointment later so wont't be about to cook today. Not sure what meals will be today - probably something quick and easy.
Anyone for stewed apples???? :rolleyes:0 -
It's the end of an era today! This morning I waved off my youngest of three Mathlets into full time school - he looked soooo small standing there in his new uniform and gripping his lunch pail full of HM bread and HM yoghurt.
Came home to an already sparkling empty nest and cleaned it again just to make sure, baked a cake and watched "cash in ya car booty attic hunt". Might have to clean some more later - how long is it till 3 o'clock?Life's a beach! Take your shoes off and feel the sand between your toes.0
