Hi Everyone,
Had a really lovely day out yesterday in London, it was such a clear, sunny day so perfect for the London Eye which was great. We also went on a Thames cruise boat. I must make the effort to go to London more often, there's nowhere quite like it.
Anyway, today I got up fairly early and hung out the load of washing I had put on overnight and added a fresh batch to the machine which I then also hung outside. I popped to Tescos quickly to buy some breakfast cereal and salad stuff (okay, plus a few of the Tesco finest choc chip cookies I've become addicted to lately), I spotted a little houseplant that had been reduced from £2.99 to £1.25 so bought it for my little sister to take to uni to brighten up her room in halls.
Then most of today was put aside for delivering leaflets for my slimming club, maybe not my and OH's fave thing to do but there are a few positives- it's good exercise so saves paying for the gym, and also it was a glorious sunny day so have caught a few rays.
We got home an hour or so ago and I tackled the back lawn which I am ashamed to say had become a bit of a forest. We had prob left it about 3 weeks and the combination of lots of rain plus a few hot sunny days had really made the grass grow tall and I could really feel my arm muscles working while vigorously trying to hack the wilderness down! A few tomatoes on our plants have turned a nice ripe red so I picked those and we will have them with dinner.
Dinner will be enchiladas, I have a packet mix and some chicken fillets defrosted so should be easy.Yesterday is today's memories, tomorrow is today's dreams0 -

Got my packed lunch with me like a good girl - forgot it on Sunday!:wall:
Just been reading about the wages gap between men and women - average of 32 percent difference where I live. So seriously need to save more than the blokes!!!Comping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
Not usually up & about & functioning at this time in a morning... couldn't sleep last night (must have been something to do with drinking 3 cups of strong black coffee an hour or so before bed!) so was up at the crack of dawn.
Load 1 of 2 in the washing machine, washing up & tidying done, BM currently making a herby loaf for tea & straining some HM yogurt - yum! Kids pack-ups done. phew!
sweet n sour chicken for lunch and sarnies in herby bread (not sure of the filling just yet) for tea followed by a poached apple in slowcooker with mincemeat in the middle (taken from recipe index).
Made a list of jobs in need to do this morning - running around a few shops and few telephone calls while the kids are at the childminders.
Don't be fooled by all my activity.... i'll be worn out by 10am, zombie like with tiredness until about 1pm then will be snoozing all afternoon until i pick the kids up. Even on a normal day i'm worn out by 2pm and need a 'power nap'. I keep telling my OH that his M.E. is 'catching'!! *yawn*0 -
Morning :hello:
Well I feel really rough today, but overdid it yesterday and am paying the price for it..lol.
Needed to get out yesterday as I was going stir crazy, so we went out for a drive. I packed a flask, cold drink for DD and a sarnie for her-just incase and a packet of biccies(only going to go out for an hour) Friend had left us his car whilst he's on holiday woth a ful tank of petrolEnded stopping at a bootsale (OH pushed me in wheelchair
) went to Harry Ramsdens for lunch and stopped at the Gap outlet  I am totally knackered and have slept for about 3 hours.
I got some brilliant bargains though. At bootsale bought 3 pairs of new jeans/trousers for me in long length size 12 (cant believe this but weight has dropped off me recently)and a lovely emerald green 3/4 coat/jacket by Liz Claibourne all for 50p each, OH got a BN pair of designer jeans from same stall for 50pA pair of BN Dolcis thick chunky soled boots at £1.50, a purse for 30p, some books at 10p each and a few bits of clothes for DD at 10p each. Then stopped at Harry Ramsdens and got large cod and chips, 2 x battered sausage & chips, 2 x drinks and a colesalw & curry dip for £8.80-but had a half price voucher from this website so cost me £4.40
Was lovely too. Then on way back to car had a look in Gap outlet and picked up 5 tops for DD reduced from £10 each to £1.99 (£10 for 5 tops). So we had a pretty money saving day especially with no petrol. We were out for about 3 hours
Washload has been done, 20 min blitz will be done very soon and OH is going to sweep and mop all floors and do bathroom for me.
I am doing nothing but resting today. I feel great that I got out yesterday though and was well worth the pain and suffering i am having today..lol
Have a good day.

Morning everyone.
Feeling nearly 100% again today, so am sat here with my porridge and fruit and my green tea.
Have to laugh about the spiders though - yesterday Mr TM found an old spud in the cupboard that had been missed as it fell out of the basket. It had sprouted about 15 hairy 'sprouts' which were up to 3 inches long. Both the boys were over-tired and 'orrible yesterday so he went into the room, stroking the "spider" and threatening to set it on them. Cue, lots of screaming and hysterical boys!! He even showed them what it was (eventually) but the result is that when they see a spider, they run screaming from the room - as in during tea when they noticed one above my head on the ceiling! I told him it would traumatise them, esp DS2, but no, he knew best. Going to be a bit of a battle getting DS2 over this one, especially as we are surrounded by trees and seem to find lots of spidersMen, huh?
Anyway, most of washing done so ironing nowCould have started it last night but couldn't be bothered as still tired. Didn't have spag bol last night in the end - found some roast beef in gravy in the freezer which was quicker to cook as I fell asleep untill 4.30. So, as the mince is defrosted, I will think about what to have - maybe bol, maybe lasagne, maybe cottage pie.... However, I have an organic chicken so may try that instead whilst there are only 4 of us for tea.
I think I'll start sorting stuff for a boot sale. We have one near here every week that is under cover so it's all year round. Next door wants to join me too - but I'm doubting I'll have enough room in the carThere should be some stuff suitable for ebay too, so better borrow their camera back as well.
Off for a surf whilst I finish my porridge. Have a good day one and all

Morning all,
Back to work after the bank holiday weekend today. Grrr.
Not a lot of time to do much on a Tuesday as I dash straight from the office to home, quick dinner and change, then out to teach two salsa classes. Normally crawl into bed about midnight.
Dinner tonight - something with left over pork - not quite decided what yet!
Have a good day!
