Well done vix! Brilliant. Next stop the London marathon:) Ampersand - I really like you idea about drinking water and checking out the window view. Will try that. Today is def a 'day one' day, after yesterday's chockie binge (why do people buy a huge family size tin of roses chocks for 2 people?) Just couldn't stop eating anything in site yesterday. Still, it's not as if I went mad at xmas, when I could barely eat anything, so I've written it off as a xmas day blow out and back to plan today. Planning is the key as ever. I just haven't in the mood to plan meals properly recently and it never pays. Today I have been more organised. Still on a mega throwout phase. Tackling the attic which is a chaotic bombsite. Also spent 2 hrs archiving bills/statements to store in attic rather than overflowing from my filing cabinet and frightening me every tmime I walk in the study.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Thanks everyone! Im feeling good. Fish and chips for dinner! ha.

Dragon: There were 2 or 3 boys in wheelchairs doing it. They only looked about 10 or so, trying realy hard they were. There was also a boy in stilts, a woman in pj's and a group of lads dressed as famers! Loads of little kids being forced to do it by their parents aswell.

BB: perhaps in 5 years time :p Im thinking of doing the race for life one next year. Now im not a virgin racer :p

weigh in tomorrow morning and I have been naughty this week - did a sport relief sponsored row (indoor rowing) and had lots of carbs so as not to run out of steam, and then my elder brother had his silver anniversay and my SIL makes the finest banoffee in the country so once every 25 years can't hurt - right ladies :rotfl:

if I can keep it level or only 1 or 2 lbs gain I will be happy - wish me luck for 06:45 tomorrow morning (the 0 stands for oh my god that's early)

I feel soooooo bad, have had a pyjama day today, got into pj's after shower and haven't got dressed ALL day lmao! I've been baking - not the best thing to do when on a diet I know but as we are moving to a new office building tomorrow a few of the girls asked if I would make us all some treats so I duely obliged. So we have an Iced lemon traybake and a dairy free sultana and orange cake which smells lush.

The upside to me baking is that between getting the washing and ironing done and the baking I haven't had the opportunity to pick.

healthy cereal brekkie, turkey rashers and salad in w/meal pitta for lunch and tonight we're having quorn sausages mash and peas (gaveO/H the option of having real meat sausages for himself but he declined!)

Vix well done on the mile I just couldn't bring myself to attempt it this year.
Mark well done on the rowing I did 500m at the gym the other day and was Kn*ckered!

A quick welcome to the newbies and here's hoping that all of us head downwards in the weightloss stakes this week.
    Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j

  • I am not expecting to lose this week, don't know why I succumbed to OH desire for take out pizza! If I can stay the same or even gain 1lb I will be happy. Weigh in tomorrow-what do I have to do to get on the list for charting my weight loss?
I have a lovely pot of tattie and leek soup to slurp on when I am hungry and planning a few of the nice slimming world recipes from the recipe thread this week, will mostly be having green days as it is getting near pay day and the cupboards are getting bare.
