Yae BB, great to see you back and look rather splendidly purple again! I'm sorry you've had such a horrid week (ditto on the knife-wielding tendencies this week, but with no end result ) and happy to hear that this week looks to be better. Enjoy those essential supplies (I may just have to pop out for some of my own :D) xx

i feel like its forever since i have been here.

happy belated birthday dragon and pet (did i get them right?)

i started a new spinning class at the gym today, now my bum HURTS lol, surprised myself by lasting the whole 45mins though, but i did cheat and sit through some of the stand up stuff. didnt realise it was possible for my thigh muscles to hurt more than they do during step aerobics.

Haha Vix, you don't believe in holding back the finer details do you ;) Hope you're feeling better.

QT2006, easy on easy off? I've had 2 weeks of losing the plot a bit, but I believe I've sorted it this week, weigh in tomorrow - will find out!

Bails not that I know a THING about teaching but I'm sure when it's your own class it must be a different story altogether. Hope it goes better next time and glad you had a good time at the gym, 357m swimming isn't to be sniffed at!

BB, you're a complete inspiration, really sorry about your bad week. I'm glad the weight gain was just a little blip, we're all in this together and hopefully as long as we stay here that "upward trend" won't happen!

Hi Eshkie and welcome to the thread! Hope we can help as you reverse the reversal!

Purplecatlover, is it a GOOD hurt, though?! :D One of those ones where you can feel smug along with it?

Well the numbers have been added up for the week and my average calorie intake was 1152/day, should have been 1200 but I always eat less at weekends (and sleep more :p) Hopefully that's the previous 2 weeks of gains blasted away!

    hi eshkie an jay!

odd weekend for me - saved my syns for the trip to mum and dad's and on the whole it went okay food wise. we were supposed to be going to Blackpool Pleasure Beach but hte forecast was so awful that we cancelled it. So of course it's ben blue skies all day today. Still, it meant that I could put up some bird feeding stuff and do some digging in the garden. Which was good as had a blazing row with OH on Saturday - the same one we have every 3 months about the fact that I do all the domestic stuff and he promises to help me, does so for a week and then goes back to waiting for bins to overflow and us to run out of cutlery before washing up. grrrrrr. still think we're over it now.

BB and Delly, hope you are feeling better now. Suzy, your hamper sounds lovely. Vix, don't assume you'll get a loss - I had 4 days of unable to keep anything in at all and lost 200g. I was quite gutted.

Did anyone watch guilty pleasures on Saturday night? I really enjoyed it!

    eshkie welcome:D

I feel it is going to be a good week, my sis who I have not seen for a year is coming for a flying visit on wednesday, the hospital says the results of the lump will be here on thursday (bit confused on that one as they said I had to have more test and have only had a blood test and urine sample so far ) the lunch box diet is going fine, the nasty boss is off this week, if you add all the pluses they outnumber the minuses for a change:rotfl: :rotfl: :D

To everyone else that is not having such a good time I do hope it picks up for you, even if it is just a little bit it then feels as if there is a point to it all;)

QT 3lb gain can be a 3lb loss next week, don't you worry, don't give up just compensate, cut back, focus and it drops off;) :D

Welcome eshkie welcoehithernicetomeetybi2.gifYou've come to the right place for motivation, you obviously know how to go about things, but problems do crop up that set us back a step or two, so let's share a bit of willpowerdustyd9.gifbecause...

...I feel awful peeps, well more, stupid really :o . I've gained some weight and even though I couldn't not expect to, what with birthday cake and a box of Turkish delight :o which had been living quite comfortably out of sight in a cupboard, since Christmas, until Thursday when it suggested, nay, DEMANDED that I eat the lot :rotfl: ... I wasn't going to alter my sig just to kid you, but that would be letting the side down! QT's, BB's and missyg's posts made me hang my head in shame :o Thank you ladies, I'm going to be brave too. It is just a little blip and not the start of an upward trend. I intend to get back into my mind over matter mode, right now!!! Actually I feel better just for telling you all :D ...

...I hope none of you are suffering too badly with the weather, the news reports sound terrifying for some areas. It's not too bad here at the moment and I hope it stays that way, I dread gales big time! Fortunately MrP is home all week so I'll have company...

    xxxx
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!
