Well done to the losers, Missyg, Dragon , and Retired Lady :j

Welcome to Jay and Eshkie. Good luck with your weight loss goals.

Dragon - belated birthday greetings. Sorry about your cold but great weight loss.

Victory - have a lovely time with your sister and all the very best for Thursday when you go to the hospital.

Ajax - do sympathise about your expected weight gain. I have a family party on Saturday and will probably be in the same boat.

Missyg - glad your son is home safe and sound. My son is nearly 18 and just got his first car. I lie awake last night listening to the storm and worried that he had to drive 20 miles to work in his car in this weather ( he's only had the car for 2 weeks). But needn't have worried, he got there safely and will behome again soon.
My bank charged me for going overdrawn for one day today, and I took the advice of the MSE and rang up and nicely asked if they would not charge me as we were good customers and to my absolute amazement they said as a goodwill they would stop the £25 charge! But just this once! What a result! Was HSBC.

To all those who are struggling with the weight this week I send lots of love and hope this next week will be YOUR week for the loss! YOU CAN DO IT!!!

To everyone else, hope weather isn't effecting you. Sorry, am trying to write this and keep an eye on the tea which is cooking and will soon be burning......:rotfl:

    Son home! Hurrah!

Ug, feel really ill now. Just got back from the gym. I did 15 mins on bike no problems, then as all the x-trainers were full I went onto the treadmill for 15 mins. Was feeling great as I managed to run for 9 minutes straight, and a total run time of 13 mins.
Then I came off and suddenly went dizzy and everything went fuzzy. When that's happened before I've fainted, so I sat down real quick and tried to cool down.
I felt sick too so decided to skip the x-trainer & just finish with a swim. Went to get my cozy on & had stomach cramps  so just came home.

Just shows what 4 days off from the gym can do! So now I'm sat at home feeling all lightheaded. Just going to chill infront of the tv before work now.

    Hi everyone -

Been trying to be a bit stricter on the India Knight (low carb diet) - we idulged ourselves a little on holiday in lovely St Ives and carried on our indiscretions after we got back.

It seems to have had the desired effect as this week (I do Monday to Monday weigh ins to fit in with OH and DD) I am down 4 lb to 16 st 7 - now only 2 llbs more than my lowest weight since the 90's - but trying to get under 15St as my target which I can't remember when I last saw :D

Made a nice chilli last night - but missed a nice crusty loaf with it

Today we have chicken liver salad (40p from Mr T with a few salad leaves, tomatoes and some blue cheese - you don't need much as its really tasty)

After that meal planning is a little speculative, but we have a fridge full of healthy stuff so it will work out ok
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine

Hi Mark88, that's a really good weight loss. Well done.:j

I read that book and it really made me think about the balance of protein and carbs that I eat. I have to say I'm not really that dedicated to stick to mainly proteins, love my carbs too much! But well done you for keeping at it and doing so well.

Purplecatlover, is it a GOOD hurt, though?! :D One of those ones where you can feel smug along with it?
oh yeah :) actually my muscles in my thighs feel better after tonights step aerobics. and i am sure my bum will get used to the spinning bike if i just keep going.
i just have to figure out how to get the shins to stop hurting every time i walk fast or run or skip.

hoping i will have lost the weight i seem to have put on this week when i weigh again tomorrow. should not have eaten that chocolate lol
