Morning All
Back again, wasn't good last week, I was having dizzy spells which at first I thought was delayed concussion, but it turns out the cold took hold. MrsSuggs and Son got it towards the end of the week! Thursday anything I ate went straight through me and Friday I had to drag myself to Birmingham for a meeting. The head is fine, just a thin red line were the cut is healing up nicely. Heading to physio today, been getting tingling in my left arm, so hopeful its nothing worse than a trapped nerve. Didnt play rugby at the weekend, I had the kids and it was a long distance away match, which I dont do if I have the kids. On reflection perhaps I should I played rugby, it probably was easier, it can be like having strangers in my house
Only had a quick flick through, Well done to you lovely lot of losers and STS's I didnt weigh on Friday as it would not have been a true reflection due to the cold and illness. So hopeful for this Friday. Im away to Twickenham with MrsSuggs this Saturday for the England match.
MumofTwins, try not to panic, the body can react babdly to change and may need to settle down again. Keep at it, you can and will do itJust do what can be done, fall over? get yourself up, dust yourself down ad join the day 1 club, we have all ben there
Right off to Physio
Keep Smiling all

Beanie I feel so  for you. It shouldn't matter what you wear as long as it's comfy and safe, which I bet it was. Could you ask to speak to someone else and explain things to them? Their aim should be help you, not hinder with petty rules; a lot of folk on here use gyms but wear a variety of kit. Please don't give up with it, it is such a good way for you to get much needed exercise. Have a hug
. I could do with a declutter but fortunately I keep finding nicer things to do :rotfl: . I'm sure that you'll have another good WI, so stay focussed

Hi all...hope you are all doing well..i am a bit ignorant as I have some 7 pages to catch up....but just wanna say thanks vix, missyg and victory for your encouragement over the gain...and pet..don't worry..it is true whatever we can gain we can lose...
So yea although my pigging continued through to yesterday...today I am gonna start being healthy again and hopefully I will get rid of that excess weight!
MOT...don't worry I am sure you'll be fine...as you said you are keeping into your points and you have been losing loads...your body just needs to adjust so even if there is a small gain, just keep going, it is like a battle cos our bodies wanna stay the same way..but we know we gotta change them for the good!
Take care folks

Beanie, What was said is not right and I know from experience that you are meant to wear light loose clothes, but above all wear what you are comfortable in. My gym would only say something if they thought it would offend (shorts cant be so tight you can tell the religion of the male wearer!) or perhaps your at risk of overheating, tracky bottoms and rugby shirts in the height of summer for example. I would make a complaint and ask for a full explanation.

Hi everyone - I joined a couple of weeks ago but haven't been able to post much due to the stresses of life!
I'd like to say welcome to Jay and Eshkie. I love SW and lost over 2 stone before I had my second baby so if you need any help or advice I can offer my services.
Well done to all the losers:T . And to the members who have gained - stick with it and take each day as it comes. If you're bad one day try to get right back on track the next.
MOT - when I have meals out planned I usually have the meal and get straight back on track the next day. My SW consultant always says the worse thing you can do is starve yourself all day then pig out at the restaurant as you need food to get your metabolism to kick in. Not sure what WW would say though. Good luck and hope you feel better.
Also, I'd like to report a 1lb loss this week:j . That sorts out the 1lb I gained last week and I'm trying to be 100% on plan this week. So far so good although it is only Tuesday  .
Good luck everyone! Thanks to all who post competitions!!0 -
ditto what suggs said beanie. take care. Suggs, you sounda bit down, hope things are picking up. What are you looking forward to most about hong kong?
Some WOW!!!! losses this weeks so far from RetiredLady, Dragon and Mark. I might get a STS tomorrow, we'll have to see.
Can anyone recommend a cup a soup thats reasonably low in syns - or better free on either red or green? I really fancied one the other day and the best i could do was 3 syns - well, thats a small bar of choc so i wasn't going there. Speaking of choc - bowing down to Vix for only eating half a lindt bar. There is no way I could ever eat half a lindt bar unless someone was prepared to beat me to death to get the other half off me. I tried one of the new kitkat senses things today - very nice, like a kinder bueno but less gooey and wafery and more chocolatey. Came out at 8 syns though!
Ampersand, who is willie HC?
Did anyone watch Delia? It was v interesting, I liked the look of the leek and potato soup with watercress using Aunt bessie's frozen mash. I checked it and it's 2.5syns per 100g. Not sure how much of the bag she used though! Quite frustrating though when the beeb insisted on hiding the product names - i don't fancy wading through several different varieties of dogfood to find the tinned lamb mince she said was reall good. However, I suspect i will save myself a lot of trouble if i go straight to waitrose.0 -
Thanks Suggs, QT el al and to Claireabelle - yes WW would probably say the sme about kicj starting the metabolism!
And Serendisglair, the idea of just having 5 mins with a cuppa on the back doorstep is great - real chillout time:D
Beanie, please take no notice of that girl at the gym she was so wrong! To go to the gym you should wear what is comfortable, its not a fashion contest! We go to lose weight, tone up, get fit - she must think the teadmill is a catwalk!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: Chin up Beanie, you've been so strong and cheerful for a lot of us, we won't let this silly t*art get you down!!Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
2lb off for me this week please granny the lunch box diet is obviously working for me, the grazing all the time throughout the day has finally lost me a bit of weight after sts for many weeks, I GUESS it is just a new way of getting the metabolism to move along a bit but recommend it and not hungry at all www.thelunchboxdiet.co.uk
suggs hope the physio goes well
beanie ignore, ignore, ignore xx

Been to the library and now have the allen carr book and Paul Mckenna give up smoking book so here goes ....0
