I bought rhubarb today, love the stuff, could eat it all day long, it is a bit challenging when it first comes out because it is very bitter and can't add sugar to it so it is very facially expressive:rotfl: :rotfl:
Victory, have you tried using granulated splenda instead? I don't even have sugar in the house as I think splenda tastes just as good as the real thing. My husband even likes it and he's really fussy.:DThanks to all who post competitions!!0 -
just logging on to see if I have any medals... I had a bit of a run in with some aggressive hot cross buns today. Was forced to eat four at one go. Life is cruel:)The excellent news is that I managed 3 hours at work today. Longest sesh since xmas. Tomorrow off, to rest, then try again Thursday. Beanie - can I throw in another hug in your direction. I know only too well what it is like having to find every ounce of energy to keep going to make a life for yourself and something like that leaving you crashing. You do brilliantly to get to the gym at all. Really glad you've got us.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0

Hi I've put 2lbs on this week - too many takeaways and out eating due to family dramas and not being at home much. I've also managed to eat up all my freezer extras so need to start from sctratch on the home-cooking front - know what I'll be doing this weekend :rolleyes:
Well done to all losers & maintainers, chin up fellow gainersxxx

Well went to the gym this morning, managed to do all 3 machines, although by the time I'd finished on the treadmill my ankle was killing me.
I went for my swim & it wasn't too bad in the water. Then I got home and walked the dog.
My ankle was throbbing all day, and whenever I get up to walk around it's like being stabbed!
I'm going to the gym again in the morning, but I think I'll just stick to the pool. I think I need to rest my ankle for a bit.:(Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Hi Guys! only joined you at the end of the lose weight 18 thread, then lost you and now find the 19 thread! well done to all losers!
I am the worlds worst dieter. I have no motivationwell I do, I dont want to wobble in a bikini, but I seem to want food more than this!!!
Ive been tryna lose weight in the no more pies club but Im doing awfully and have actually gained weight since January
(half a stone
)
Im worried to go back on a strict diet, because if i go out for a meal/relax it for a day, my IBS flares up badly, and I tend to find my IBS is much better if I constantly eat a bit of everything and not ban anything then re-introduce...HOWEVER, without having the strictness of a diet, its turning into a bit of a free for all.Any suggestions on what I could to (a) not cut food out (b) lose weight (c) be strict enough not to eat rubbish all the time?
Do you all post your menus on here for the day and comment on them?
2 positive points after all my sad faces is that I have been chocolate free for 35 days, and prior to this I was a serious chocaholic. I just now seem to be compensating for the lack of choc (which Im not missing actually!) with other forms of food e.g. biscuits!! Also I did 30mins of exericse today, which is 30 more than I've done for about 8 weeks...
I dont have a prob having a healthy breakfast/dinner/tea but post 6.30 I'm just a horror and stuff my faceeven when Im not hungry...
All suggestions welcome !!
