Well done PoohBear Glad its working out for you :j

Vix, do the letters TMI mean anything to you? :rotfl:

BB slowly slowly catchy monkey, no spanking though ;) Well done you.

    Pet (((hugs)))

Jamtart, not followed all the posts, but I aim for 4 gym sessions a week. If work committments can be an issue, then can you set a program say third treadmill, third cycle, third cross trainer and up or lower the actual timings to fit?? or perhaps raise the intensity on the heavy work weeks? I tend to raise and lower the actual timings of my sessions. Just a thought, happy to help.

Well Done to Anic Pixie, Boddy, Bunter on your losses

KPC and Bails :T on your STS I am hopeful for the same this week :)

Ampersand, put your bra back on, I know where the floor is thanks ;)

Raphael, take it easy, surely it is better, to move less and have no or little pain than lots of exercise and lots of pain? Swimming if very good for the whole body and can be very toning. Keep at it but take it easy :)

Physio wise, my neck and my back are tight and stiff, combination of working at a desk, playing rugby and losing weight! Plenty of bone cracking and been twisted and turned yesterday about 4 or 5 sessions to go, then back in the neck harness for aome straightening. And to think some people pay extra for that service ;)

    Right back to work
    Keep the smiling people xx

Hi Guys! only joined you at the end of the lose weight 18 thread, then lost you and now find the 19 thread! well done to all losers!

I am the worlds worst dieter. I have no motivation :( well I do, I dont want to wobble in a bikini, but I seem to want food more than this!!! :( Ive been tryna lose weight in the no more pies club but Im doing awfully and have actually gained weight since January :( (half a stone :(:( )

Im worried to go back on a strict diet, because if i go out for a meal/relax it for a day, my IBS flares up badly, and I tend to find my IBS is much better if I constantly eat a bit of everything and not ban anything then re-introduce...HOWEVER, without having the strictness of a diet, its turning into a bit of a free for all.Any suggestions on what I could to (a) not cut food out (b) lose weight (c) be strict enough not to eat rubbish all the time?
    !!

jamtart - I don't know if anyone else has answered you yet, but if you don't want to follow a strict diet program, why don't you try intuitive eating, not too sure how many websites there are around about it but it's basically waiting until you're hungry and then deciding what you want to eat, you eventually choose a healthy diet. Or try this link It's to a challenge run by Oprah and the guy who finally got her to lose all the weight. His plan runs in 3 phases. First phase is
    1. up your exercise to 30 mins x 3 times per week,
    2. eat 3 meals & 1-2 snacks per day
    3. set a cut off time for your evening eating but it must be at least 2 hours before you go to bed.

You're only supposed to weigh once every 4 weeks for the first stage of the first phase, if you're losing weight that way then you continue with those steps weighing once a week until you plateau then move onto phase 2 where you make other changes.

Whatever you decide, stick with us as you'll find it easier than going it alone and there's always someone about if you fancy a moan.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

do you ampersand, i never thought of putting hm soup in a mug! Sounds bonkers i know, but I was looking for something hot snacky, and never tohught of using proper soup as it. May give that one a spin, but will also try the mugshots thans ever so much clairabelle!

Forget to say earlier, but thanks for hte advice Delly, I will give that a go. The main problem is that I ask OH to do things at the point at which they need doing - ie the stairs haven't been vacuumed for 3 weeks so i ask him to do it. He then says that i should give him more time to do things. We've agreed that he has to take reponsibility for cleaning the office/spare room/stock room once every 4 weeks and I will not hassle him or move his paperwork until it gets to the 4 weeks. Not ideal but I guess it's a start!

Thansk for the sympathy victory, I really miss my old boss. She left a year ago and the place hasn't bee nthe same since.
