Ooh your medals are very cool, peeps! Congratulations on the losses being posted, fab work team!
Vix, people return worn knickers?!!! Madness. They could probably get much more for them on ebay if the threads about the worn shoes are anything to go by.
BB, congrats about work again! You are doing so great. Hope you enjoyed those hot cross buns! I bought some goodies yesterday to stash in my luggage when I go away and I think some of them may not survive that long either
Raphael, look after yourself there and if the ankle doesn't get better with some rest then have it checked out won't you?
Good to see you again Jamtart, sorry you have been struggling. I guess if I were you I'd try to prioritise things, and the first thing would be working out how to balance a diet with the IBS flare-ups. That's the most important thing because if you're not feeling good, everything else becomes a big strain. It sounds like more of a 'grazing' diet might suit you, where you eat less, but more often? What about evenly spacing 5 smaller meals during the day or something like that? If evenings are the time you usually snack, you could maybe try having a pint of water with each snack - to fill you up more and dissuade you from having too many? If it becomes too difficult to diet mostly through food, don't forget you also have the option of upping exercise.0 -
Either that, or they try a pair of knickers on and have such dry skin that all the insides are covered in dead skin.

Jamtart, forgot to say there is always lots of chat about food on here so post away - I personally don't post up my menus because I'm such a ridiculously bland/plain eater that the foodies would be horrified
Well after the excitement of putting a decent amount onto my stooze card yesterday courtesy of Snow + Rock, today I've got work to catch up on! I'll be back when I need a bit of distraction later0 -

Morning kpc, hope I don't annoy/cause offence when I still don't want to let this go for you.
Commercial cupasoups can't compare with something h/m. Can't you just pour some hot h/m soup from Thermos or mw same brought from home?

Hi everone,
I have lost an amazing 7lb since I changed track and joined Slimming World online last Saturday. That means that I have STS for my official Lose Weight 19 this week.
I also want to say a huge 'Thank You' to everyone but especially to BB and KPC who helped me to keep going with my weight loss challenge and gave excellent advice as I obviously need to change tack.
Well done all losers and maintainers!!
Vix, My daughter and I couldn't stop laughing about your Knicker escapade.:rotfl: :rotfl:
Amersand, definitely get a new bra. I got measured properly and now feel as though I have a waist! Breasts being hoisted up does really make you feel more confident. I need to get measured for a swimsuit next.
I've not logged on to computer recently because I am trying to spend less time sitting here and more time doing something.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Oh Pooh, that is fantastic. I'll be back in a bit with more peeps, but need to crowbar OH away from his laptop first, so I can write 'proper' on his:) But had to respond to pooh straight away.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Aww so much kindness - thanks for all your nice words! I actually went to the doctors about my IBS and said "I feel so much better when I eat crap"..to which she virtually replied "Eat what makes you feel best" (my ears heard this as "stuff yourself"...which I merrily have been doing!!)
So..missyg has a point...I could up the exercise, which I absolutely hate. Its kind of a MUST, I do so much better when I have an exercise buddy - anyone feel like being my virtual guilt trip exercise buddy ?
Its so annoying as I only want to lose 7lb-14lb. I lost 2 stone a few years ago and kept it off, so why can't I do it now?? (I can't do it now because I fit into size 12/14, I can wear normal clothes, and I just look a bit curvier than most people...wheras before I was in a size 20, and vastly overweight - so the motivation is lacking!!) I'd love to be able to look lovely and slim in a bikini for the first time ever (I have worn a bikini before but never looked lovely and slim in it!!) .....I do suppose exercise and cutting down of night time grazing is the key really. Don't eat much fat nor processed foods really so its difficult to know what to do next...
I dont want toup my exericse so much that when I can't maintain it due to work commitments then I put lots of weight on , does that make sense?
Thanks for all the advice and "listening" to me rambling!!

Jamtart, personally, I do Slimming World coz I like being able to fill up on pasta, beans and potatoes on green days. If I'm hungry later in the evening I would have a tin of spaghetti in tomato sauce or a mugshot or something rather than dive into the biscuit tin. You can even have a chinese (chow mein isn't that high on syns). I do have my odd slip up days when nothing but chocolate will do but I find that the Options hot drinks help a bit (although nothing is better than the real thing;) ). Nothing is banned (in moderation!)
WW is obviously successful as well though as many people on here would agree. I just don't like the idea of running out of points and not being able to eat anything else (this would probably happen at lunch time for me!!)
I hope you find something to suit you.
katiepoppycat, have you tried Mugshots? They're a noodle snack rather than a cup-a-soup but I love them. The chow mein, chicken and spicy sweet and sour are free on SW green days but I'm not sure about WW. They're they same as cup-a-soup in that you empty the sachet into a mug, add hot water and after 5 mins they're ready. I have one most days for my lunch in the office.
Claire xThanks to all who post competitions!!0 -
Poohbear: Its only 5 years down the line i can tell the story without feeling embarassed by it!
Well done on the weight loss!0
