Happy, Thrilled, Pleased, Overthemoon, Ecstatic (ok, you get the idea!):D to report another 2.5 pounds off again this week!

I did 4 days of green and 3 red plus I joined a couple of exercise classes at the gym. Had to sit down a couple of times during the body vive class but didn't do too badly really.

I am looking forward to the day I can get down on the floor (and back up again) ! Mind you this time last year I couldn't even put my own socks and shoes on!:o

Hope everyone has been ok in these storms:(

    Love
    Marion

Just had my fave pasta bolognese for lunch - a huge helping! Not many calories left for the rest of the day now :rotfl:

Good luck with the quitting smoking Victory, we all know what you're like when you put your mind to something :D I'm sure the money you save will come in handy along with all the other benefits!

Weather is horrendous and my little boy is out on a school field trip :( I know I sound like one of those over-protective mothers but I just want him home!

Congratulations on the great weight loss this week Marion!

Brilliant news Dragon! Hope you're feeling a lot better today too.

Having a bit of an MSE sort out day today, toying around with my ISAs, reviewing spend etc. New council tax bill is in, increase of £6 a month, wonder how that compares around the country?

Sadly no real savings today Bails but I have set the wheels in motion for ISA transfers to make more interest! I've also decided to change my 'reduce expenditure by £5k' challenge to 'bank £5k more in 2008' - may seem like a subtle difference but the bottom line is the same (£5k+ more in my savings accounts), it stops me stressing over spending money to make money, and it gives me a far better chance to overachieve :p

Son is home - the trip was cancelled due to storm damage at the place they were going. He has spent all day at school in his thermal undies, layers and waterproof trousers :rotfl:

    1 lbs gain!

Really annoyed, thou I've been slacking on the gym this week. I did go for 3 days, which is what I've told myself is the minimum to make the money worth while, but midweek I got a huge weary on and spent the rest of the week in bed (I did walk the dog so had some exersize). I think I'm due for TOTM, which prob explains the tiredness and the gain.
Hopefully I can rectify it this week. Very annoyed thou, as it's the first gain I've had in ages.

Vix, don't assume you'll get a loss - I had 4 days of unable to keep anything in at all and lost 200g. I was quite gutted.

We were joking KPC, cos last week before weigh in i said i'd wee, poo, trim hair ect in a bid to lose something, and this week i had the runny poo's you see!

We know KPC that a loss isnt on the cards for awhile :p I bought a 3 pack kinder egg and a lindt crunchy caremel bar which i ate half of yesterday :(

Sport relief mile on sunday will burn that off i hope :p

    Welcome back ajax -

Well done dragon & marion on your losses.:j

raphael don't worry about gaining - it's just a blip and will be off again next week.

To all our maintainers - please do post your gains and losses on - it'll help all of us losers to be more realistic about maintaining when we finally get there.

bails - I can understand how frustrating in can be if things aren't moving along (I'm supposed to be at least 14lbs lighter by now but oh well!). Stick with it and remember that sts is much tougher (as our maintainers will agree) than losing.

Happy to report an MSE result today:money: - because we'd stopped using our washing machine after the wire went into the drum, we managed to get it repaired for £20! How cool is that?:T Just saved myself £500 on a new washing machine.

KPC(((((((hugs)))))))) - I know exactly how you feel about the ongoing arguement with your OH. Got some great advice today from a workmate who's been married 25+ years.

First thing is - don't compare what your OH does with what anyone elses will/won't do - accept the things he will do and be grateful for it.

Secondly - if you want him to do something - ask him. If you have to remind him more than once that something needs done and he accuses you of being a nag, turn it around and make it his fault. As in, I asked you to do xyz, but you didn't do it, if you think I'm nagging you about it now, then that's cos you didn't do it the first time I asked you - so you're turning me into a nag and it's your fault!

Thirdly - he knew what you were like when you first got together - you expect certain standards in your housekeeping and by not tidying up after himself/ helping with domestic chores etc.... he's being unkind/disrespectful/unloving (pick your weapon of guilt as necessary) to you ...

    Hope this helps...

shoot, wonder if I should have pm'd this info to you? .... don't want to much ammunition out there for the guys do I?
