I couldnt eat pigeon. Im a pigeon lover. I know im in a minority group big time but theyre so unloved by so many people.

I can nearly hit children who run at pigeons! It really annoys me.

I think it stems from seeing early photos of my mum feeding pigeons in venice, and then having lots of pigeons in the back garden that i used to feed by hand as a child.

Oh and white pigeons are called smarty pants. A mix of white and grey are called smarty or smartypant or pants. I created the name quite young and if i see one i still say it ha.

oooh, yeah, I'll eat anything me, I'm not squeamish. When i was about 11 went to an urban farm, spent the morning bottlefeeding and cuddling the lambs and guess what I had for diiner? yep, lamb. OH can be a bit that way, but he's not coming, so we can eat cute food. It'll be wood pigeon, not those scary feral urban ones that divebomb you and take your sandwich out of your hand.

I shall try to make sure they aren't smartypants ones though vix! like your new pic btw

hop you get that computer fixed bb

Bb...When I had my problems with Macafee, it turned out to be that I had 2 firewalls working by mistake and they were in conflict with each other. It caused terrible problems too and when the techie bloke told me to check and switch one off, I couldn't believe it could happen, but I did as he suggested and everything was solved:j . I'm running short if ideas now, not that that's anything new:o ....I hope you get it resolved soon we all miss your purpleness ...

...I shunned pigeon until about 2 years back, when I went into a fabulous restaurant and tried pigeon breast on a bed of puy lentils, it was absolutely gorgeous:j :j They have such a bad reputation these days which I think goes back decades to when they were regarded a the poor man's meat...

I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Duck im going off now too.

Im thinking of a poor pigeon flapping about :( last year we cared for a pigeon who flew into our conservatory window. He wouldnt fly off and it was getting dark. Thought he was a gonna but a night in the garage with some food and bird seed sorted him out.

He flew off with his other buddies that are always in out garden :D

Our family are suckers like that. Rescue dogs, helping pigeons. Matt and i tried to save a hedgehog walking in the road but that failed. Also saved a bird who was being attacked by a cat.

Now thats something i would happily eat!! cats. Blimming hate them. Apart from my brothers cat sadie, she is such a woman. She watches you putting on make up like she wants to join in!

    anyway, im rambling again :p

Going ballrooming tonight! Burn off some calories. The mother in law is having a curry at a restaurant, and were invited for a change! then im off to a friends 21st party. Not such a healthy weekend i suspect! Hope you have a good one!

But I've no idea how to switch it off and am too scared, after this mornings attempts to try anyting else! I'm just speaking to the laptop very nicely to see if I can persaude with honied words to give me what I need. Works with MR BB...

Sorry you're having so many problems with your PC BB - I'll offer my extensive techy knowledge................................................ so there you go, I'm sure it's working fine now ;) Hope you can fathom it out soon, and that the weekend heralds a better week for you both xx

Supply lesson was pants, pants, pants today :( Wanted to teach it rather than just cover it, spent hours planning it yesterday and the kids did nada! Oh well, I'm not going to let the little blighters win - just makes me more determined :D

No idea how the WL is going at mo, not great I'd imagine. All this talk of SW is tempting me, but I just don't think a structured programme is the way forward for me, might send me over the edge. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend planned x

Well, that's what I peripherally saw as I rolled through the posts.
It was enough to make me stop and look again, vixarooni....:D and briefly wonder [a] How? If this was WW going-off-the-rails code.
Have a great night and a user-friendly curry.

Don't be seduced bails, stick with what you've worked on for long term mind, body and spirit sucess. Once the spring is here you may find you get a bit more active (which isn't logical with our health problems and drives me mad when others say that to me!! IT's NOT seasonally affected!) But with you being an active type in the world of normal, do you do more outdoorsy stuff in the spring/summer?Thanks for your extensive computer assistance. As you can see, all is now sorted:) Can't select the thanks button or create paragraph breaks either. It feel really weird. Sorry you had a pants teaching sesh. I guess they do happen to the best of teachers but it must be disappointing for you when you don't get lots of hours to wipe the slate clean with some goods sessions straight away. I've just taken the second (once a week) dose of low dose chemo drugs that make me very nauseaus. I don't have cancer but they are used to treat psoriatic arthritis. They left me immobilised last weekend in pukedom land.Hoping they'll be better this week. Struggling not to over eat sugar in every form known to (wo)man.
