Good morning everyone and congrats to all the good losses this week! Victory - well done and I am not the least bit jealous, no sir not me!!:p
I have been invited out with some girls on Saturday night to go out and where we are going will have their own bar but we are supposed to bring our own food/snacks. Somehow I found myself volunteering to do slimming world peanuts (made with chick peas). I know they will have to be syned but they will be low. Only problem is I have no idea how to make them!! Can anyone help?
I am really looking forward to this as it will be my first evening out since before Christmas!

Hello
Well I'm pleased to report that I have lost 2lbs in the last week! Finally all that exercise has payed off WHEYHEY!I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -
big well done's to beanie (on a roll girlie) mark, tagz and anic:T . Commiserations to kpc, raph and gpuk: I'm with you guys this week: a 1lb gain please delly. I am not suprised but am still disappointed as this takes me back to 3lbs over target. I am just struggling at the mo with fatigue, so I know why the weigh is lurking. Trouble is I am soo tired and arthritis is a bit worse so subconsciously i think my body thinks it needs pepping up with food,as though my blood sugar is low, but the knackeredness doesn't go. I'm not massively over eating but enough to not beable to shift that 3lbs.
If I could just do a bit more exercise, bu that isn't possible at the mo. Still, today is a new day, and dinner is in the slow cooker: a new recipe I got from delia's recent prog (diced pork, roast peppers, very thinly sliced cherizo which I have never had before, red onion and passata and white wine) Baked potato for lunch. Too much to do today, when my body just wants to curl up on the sofa under the duvet.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

bb sometimes you just have to listen to the body and do as it says:rolleyes: in the last week I have done far too much and although at the time it needed to be done and I thought I was able to do it, the diabetes had 3 hypos yesterday and my knees and feet are so very painful with the RA that it makes you wonder why push so hard i nthe first place? To settle it down will need constant monitoring and a bit of calmness for the next couple of days, rebelling is one thing, making it worse is another:rolleyes: it, like yourself just annoys me, the constraints and I do more often than I should push on against it and through it but it is me in the end that ends up paying for it :rolleyes:0 -

thanks victory, I needed to hear that. I do feel really rough and could cry at the drop of a hat: I'm so stiff and aching all over with the PA that it feels like I'm coming down with flu, although I'm not ,it's the PA. It's so hard when jobs pile up because you're on a go slow: I try and pare them down to the bare essentials but eventually things need to be done. Perhaps not today though eh...I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0

Hi, I have a SW question if that is allowed on here. I used to like to eat oatibix as I don't eat wheat but I cant find them on the green or red day lists as healthy extras. I like to eat one with soya milk and a sliced banana on top but if they are not a healthy extra I will give them up. I have STS this week. Despite trying to eat carefully I have not lost but as I am still on the same medication that was piling on the pounds I am quite pleased. I haven't exercised much as the weather has been bad, though I did manage 7mins on the treadmill at the gym on its slowest setting. I wish I could afford to buy one as it is costing me £3 for 10 mins exercise!!
BB, do what victory says and listen to your body. Although I am not the best one to give advice as I should 'practice what I preach'!! I am in lots of pain today and I maybe one of the reasons I feel so bad is because it has turned cold again. We also had the lounge carpet cleaned yesterday and I seemed to be on the go from first thing till late last night. We still have loads of things to put back. I know exactly what you mean about wanting to curl up under the duvet. And about leaving things to another day. They pile up and then I get not just tired but tearful too. My family tell me to leave things and then I get up next day and they have not done them. Something that might take them two minutes is a marathon for me. Sorry to moan but I can understand how you feel to a certain extent. Thanks for the idea of a jacket potato for lunch. I am going to stick a couple in the microwave, one for me and one for DH when he comes in for lunch.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hi Everyone!
I'm reporting a 2lb loss this week. I'm really chuffed as I got my stone and a half award, my club 10 and I was slimmer of the week :j . I hope I don't go off the rails again though. Dellybelly would it be possible to update the chart with my total weight loss? I joined the forum after I had already lost some weight with slimming world. My total weight loss is 1st 8lbs including the loss this week. I make that 22lb?
Hope everyone is doing ok. Well done to all the losers - some great weight losses there.
Poohbear59 - I looked up the latest healthy extras and it says you can have 28g of oatibix bitesize (any variety) with 1 Ryvita wholegrain as a healthy extra or 28g oatiflakes (any variety) and 1 oat/scanbran. It doesn't mention the biscuits though, only the weetabix ones. Hope this helps.
Claire xThanks to all who post competitions!!0 -

It is just that there comes a time(hopefully before the real pain has kicked in due to over exercusion but we both know easier said than done when there is so much to do) when you have to give in and go and sit with the duvet and wait for it to pass.
Take yesterday, I had 3 hypos and come the second one I thought I can't move anymore but immediately thought 'I have to I have 2 kids on school hols' I have got to get their dinner, I have to be up and about moving, I chose to take 1 hour out, the kids were out and I refused to move for an hour, lots of moaning and demanding but I refused, sometimes you just have to put yourself first, if I go down the whole ship goes down as I run it very perfectionist, obsessive and I know the best way to do it, no one compares:rotfl: :rotfl:
I have a teenager son and a young one that can do when begged things and even though the eldest says I am making him work like a slave:rotfl: :rotfl: he will do things because I say so and because it is necessary so delegation is invaluable sometimes. I resent the fact when it is not going o.k here everything has been left and not only do I have to do todays tasks but the other days also which makes a pile up and more work and more pain etc:rolleyes:
Delegation definetely, patience def to recover, frustration def but it has to be lived with and a hope that the people with you/around you can help/take care of things and not impeed you.0
