Great job on the chart delly:T .
Thanks for various huggles and good advice today peeps. I know only too well to listen to my own body, but sometimes it gets wearing and it is good to have someone else tell you what to do:o . Anyway, my day has ended much better than it began thanks to painkillers, your tlc and a little gentle retail therapy (but in charity shops so fairly MSE) in the sunshine. Tomorrow I have builders arriving at crack o'dawn o'clock  . My stairwell victorian lathe and plaster ceiling is not happy and they are going to lavish much needed caressing on it. I have borrowed a tailors dummy to start photograph clothes for ebay so hope to get some of that done while they build up a sweat in my hall:D .
Granny - 5lbs is very rescuable: do you feel more able to focus now than you did before you went away? Perhaps the slight break will mean you'll get a good loss this week if you can get back on track. And what did you decide with Mr GN cooking - did you manage to STAY AWAY FROM THE KITCHEN for the duration?? I have to bite my tongue not to interfere too:o . Sounds great that he is going to take over the cooking during the week.
Well done raph on day one of your tweaked plan. I had our delia inspired casserole heaped up in a dessert bowl rather than a lge dinner plate - it didn't look much to Mr BB but it filled me up without the need for any carbs(which I had for lunch).
Seren - great advice to Pooh: don't give up the oatibix if it is healthy and you like it: I bet it's a straight swop for wheetabix for the HEb option.
Wendy - fab on the .5lb loss after the chocolate weekend. What did you do for the last 2-3 days, just focus on SW and low syns? Looks like you are geting to grips well now with not giving up 'for the rest of the week' just becasue you've had a bit too much on one or 2 days. This is the way to true sustainable weight control. Well done.
Kpc - this morning I read your list as '5 litres of water a day' : somehow I didn't see the 1. before it at first!I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
hmmm, 5 lityres of wate a day would mean i never spent any time at my desk in the office so it wouldn't be a bad thing . . . . .
Glad i'm not alonei n feeling overwhelmed with 'stuff' at hte moment. work is crazy, the ironing is piling up, the house is a tip and I'm planning food for 11 over the weekend which will have to be shopped for. Soemtimes we all need to take a break. I can't remember who said it but uit really resonated with me when someone said, 'oh the other members of hte family say 'leave it' but when you get up the next mornings it's still not done.' Sounded terribly familiar!
Off to tackle the ironing pile before work! Glad to see BB feeling more cheerful too.
who was it asking about SW chickpea peanuts? I've got a recipe for roasted chickpeas on the recipe thread that I think will do the trick. As far as I know you don't syn them at all on a green day. Go to page one and click on the link for the recipes. Funnily enough, I've got to make some tonight because I'm doing hte full recipe which involves roasting them then simmering them back to juiciness again with stock, ginger, saffron and garlic. mmmmmmm0 -
well done to all the loosers:j :j :j :j
My fav day of the week, going to work for the day with the good boss, we get on great and have a right laugh:D
missyg £1500:eek: I made £55 and not a very happy OH because a couple of them went again for 99p starting bid and he was less than impressed to let them go for that much, I HAVE had to appease him by offering to give him all the money:rolleyes:0 -

I found it - thanks so much! I was looking up the wrong words!
Good morning everyone - have just made my cous-cous cereal (free on green) and taken the dog out for his walk so starting off good!
One thing has annoyed me though and I am not sure what to do about it. I live on a green and the road stops outside my house where people park their cars. Yesterday one of the neighbours had a skip delivered and it is ourside of my house (about 12 foot from my front door). I guess last night some other people put a bunch of their rubbish in it (NOT ME) and he has been out this morning and thrown it all out onto the grass. Now I know it is not on my property but I do not think I should have to have it dumped outside of my house - including a toilet and sink!!
I don't feel I can speak to him as he is notthe friendliest of blokes. What do you think I should do?
Thanks

brigton belle thanx I am on track now after my liittle setbacks which is a 1st for me as I'm usually an all or nothing gal !I just got back on SW and had 5 syns instead of 10. So glad you are feeling a bit better but don't envy you having the builders in , I hate mess bit of a tidy freak I think. kpc send me your ironing hun,cos all my friends think I'm crackers but I like ironing when I go for coffee often stand and do theirs while we chat wonder why I am always being inundated with offers to pop round for a cuppa ?l:T Never Too Old to learn :T0

Morning everyone
Well done to everyone for great results on the chart and congrats SOTW (both of you!). That total loss column just gets more impressive doesn't it!
Biggest holiday gains? Mine might not have been the heaviest in terms of weight but it was a 7% gain of my overall body weight in 2 weeks
KPC, hats off to you doing food for 11! What are you going to do or haven't you decided yet? Hope it goes well.
Victory yes there's always some that go for 99p that you hoped would do better, but with a bit of luck it evens out as some things you think will go for pennies end up doing betterI'm sorry your results aren't as good as you hoped though.
Marion, tricky one... if it was me I'm afraid I'd probably just keep my mouth shut and see if it sorts itself out in a couple of days. I would be scared of starting a feud with an "unfriendly" neighbour in case a dumped bathroom set turns out to be the least of my problems  I know that is going to sound cowardly. Hopefully someone else will have some better advice for you.
Wendy I hope your very lucky friends do things for you in return for you doing their ironing!0 -
Not so much disappointed, as surprised, to have
GAINED 1.5 lbs.
I have no idea why, unless a black eye can be blamed. Was more active than previously, too.
Back in a fortnight - shall see what happens then.

Hi everyone!
Hope everyone is spiffy. Chart looks good!
Ive decided that once i have finished my last two assignments i am going to re join the chart and get back to it. I had to buy size 14 jeans yesterday at bluewater (i seem to have missed gok and the apprentice which were both there at some point!) and once my assignments are done i can afford to dedicate some time to weight loss aswell as revision. Probably so me some good to get my heart going and all that!
Its not been the best of weeks for me. Infact its been two very hard weeks. Ill on the first 2 days of my easter holiday, then uncle taken into hospital, then work for 4 days. I went out on the weekend which was good, but then monday evening i had a horrible horrible migraineWhilst i had that migraine i nearly went to casualty because i had a nosebleed that lasted an hour that wouldnt stop (my last two nosebleeds have been like this now!) my mum gave me untill half 10 and if it was still flowing we would go but thankfully it stopped!! so on tuesday i felt absolutly awful. Weak, tired and completly drained. Wednesday mum made matt and i go out for the day so we went to sir winston churchills house. I'd been but matt hadnt and it was pretty good. Then we had a meal out (fattening) aswell as bluewater.
And now here i am! So in the two weeks ive had off i have done 0 college work. Oh and to top it all off, the electricians have come in to re wire our house!! So when i start work it will be drill here, drill there. Fabulous.
Ok, sorry everyone that is my rant over. I feel better now its all off my chest and written down, there is always something theraputic about putting things into words.
have a nice day everyone!
