    Hello everybody .... action-smiley-030.gifaction-smiley-030.gifaction-smiley-030.gif I've missed you.

Back from the very wet south of France. It rained for 5 days out of the seven which wasn't quite what I'd hoped for. Ate LOADS of delicious French food and am now anticipating the biggest  holiday weight gain yet seen on LW19. Off to the gym in a minute - that shows how desperate I am - and even maybe the sunbed. I know it's not healthy, but if the sun had been shining in Nice I would have a tan by now.

I've read all the posts for the week I've been away and am so impressed at all the wisdom shared.

Out of my meeting and just packing to head home for a conf call. Thought I should share something with you guys, I am been serious, so please no laughing at the back, I have applied for and paid entry into the ballot for the 2009 London Marathron. I wont find out till October if I am successful or not and the only other person that knows is MrsSuggs. Just something I have always wanted to try and hopefully will give me the motivation to keep hard at it this year.

Welcome Back Granny, I posted my gains along with Marion (I think?) so lets hope your was something to enjoy :)Lexilex pick yourself up and head off for a little walk, every little helps :)

I couldn't access your pics either Vix :(

Victory, the BRAN decision making thing is similar to pros and cons but with four columns Benefits, Risks, Alternatives, Nothing - Benefits and Risks are your standard pros and cons, but the two extra ones will get you thinking about whether there are any alternatives or what will happen if you just leave it (sometimes doing nothing turns out to be the best option). Someone told me about it during my pregnancy when there are all kinds of things to decide upon, and it helped me when I was considering whether to choose a home birth.

Granny!!! Welcome home! I'd heard about the rain down that way and I was thinking about you :( Biggest holiday gain you reckon? Shall we put you down for slimmer of the week next week already then? ;)

Suggs you fabulous creature, good luck with getting a place on the marathon! Even applying is bloomin' impressive and anyone willing to go for it has my utmost respect as I know I couldn't do it.

Hi everyone - got weighed this morning at SW and am fairly pleased to report a 1 pound loss.

I think after last weeks miracle 1 lb sounded like such a small amount and I had been so good too!

What I find really frustrating is some of the people who get weighed in and lose 2 pounds or so - and then say "well I don't know how that happened! I have had curry and pizza and been out drinking and havn't stopped eating all week.!! BHOD!! (bangs head on desk) Not fair!!!

Oh well, moan over now, I was very good last week and will be very good again next week and so on untill my next holiday in about 4 weeks time - Rotterdam this time!

    Keep up the love guys

Suggs -- what a fantastic feeling it must be to think that you can take on a challenge like that. Though after the challenge you've succeeded with in reducing your weight so brilliantly I guess nothing is too much for you to contemplate now.

I don't know why, but it alwys makes me cry when I see the runners starting off for the London Marathon ... not the elite group but the real people. I do hope you're lucky in the ballot.
