    Hi Again!

Just been listening to my OLD Randy Crawford CD and found a song that used to cheer me up on sad days. It has lovely words and thought of Smokeybabe and OH when I heard it. Hope you dont mind! I found a link on Youtube:

    Morning everyone :hello:

    ((((smokybabe))))

What an exciting week. It was the first day of the Peterborough Drama Festival yesterday and my class came first in the choral speaking. :j :j They always manage to pull it out of the bag at the right time. We now have a trophy in our classroom and needless to say, they were so hyperactive yesterday afternoon that I didn't get an ounce of work out of them. (not that I intended to!)

Today it's another rugby match. Fingers crossed that they turn up mentally today - they didn't last weekend. :( I'm hoping that my mum and dad go today as I've got my mum's Mothers' Day card to give her. :D We'll be popping in to see DH's mum on our way back from the match to hand over his card to her.

Not sure what we're doing for food tonight. DH's parents might offer to buy us a chinese takeaway ;) otherwise it'll be a leek stew thing from my GL diet book. We're not following the diet religiously, but there are some nice ideas in it.

I'd better go for now.

It's amazing how something like Smokey's dilemma affects you. I've not been reading about it for long, but am drawn into checking for news each day!

Take each day as it comes Smokey, can't do anything else. Even though you don't know me, I'll still be thinking of you each day and rooting for your DH.

CM Snowy even sent a link to watch it. That's what happens when you have a lot on your mind. I'm not talking about your BM either. :D

Call me thick, but how do you tie on another ball at the end of the row? It might not be at the end and by the time I knit it in, in could be in the middle, iywim. :D

    Awaiting in anticipation. :p:D
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Aussie, well number one you shouldn't *tie on*, you should weave the two ends in. When you see you are coming to the end of the ball you just have to waste some yarn by leaving that and starting a new ball leaving a longish end. Later you weave the ends ( one at a time) through the stitches on the wrong side. A rough guide to if you have enough yarn for a full row left is, is the yarn three times the length of your row? Clear as mud eh?:rotfl:

Morning everyone. OH out for the day today. Eldest DD wanted to sleep with me last night-as she was frightened of sleeping with the monitor all wired up. So my lovely OH volunteered to sleep on the sofa-bless him. DD is looking forward to 12 0' clock when the monitor comes off. Guess I'll be sorting out the kitchen today-looks like a bomb has dropped!! Not been up very long so I think another cuppa will motivate me to get on!!!

    Morning everyone.
Hugs and best wishes to Smokey, you know where we all are if there is anything we can do (((()))

Todays got off to a flying start, dh took car for MOT first thing and it passed!!!! Iv hoovered the whole house on 3rd loads of washing and have cleared out the shoe and coat cupboard.
Need to prepare tomorrows dinner as have 2 footy matches, ill be glad when the season finishes in a few weeks time!!
We are off to Father oin laws and his wifes for tea later, mainly to drop off her mothers day card ( not that my husband looks on her as even a step mum, but she will get face on if we done produce a huge bunch of flowers and chocs, we dont even do that for dh mum, she is happy with a well picked card with a nice verse and would tell us off if we did spent money on her!)

Hope you all have good days

    Good Morning All

Grrrrr  how frustrating, Ive done a long post & lost it. This ruddy laptop, its so sensitive.

Happy Birthday to Miss Llamahead & Master Crazychik (again)
(((hugs))) to Smoky, Snowy & Redruby.
PP hope you get the flowers sorted. I saw the pic last night, they dont look too clever.

Kids are with their dad, 2pm today & return sunday at 7pm. DS is hoping to go ice-skaying for his birthday treat and take 2 friends. I just hope his dad doesn't let him down and not go.

WM on with the dogs bedding. She needs bathing today.
Then at some point, must pay a visit to my dad's and drop mother's day card off for my step-mum.
    Hoesework needs to be done!
Just I hope can get motivated to do it all.

Right, off for a shower, as Im having my eyebrows waxed this morning.

    Have a great wk end.
    Love Emma xxx
