happy birthday master cc:j
red ruby--- have u heard from oh yet?? hope you are ok??
pp--- have you rang an complained about those flowers, I wonder if they are all being sent out like out??
scuzz---jobs are like buses, they will come 2 or at a time!! 2 - 3 hours travelling sounds a bit rough. I have just finished my old job and it took me about 35 mins each way, by friday i used to get achy shoulders. My new one is a bit closer, but the drive there is much less stressfull. sounds like a good idea to weigh up pro and cons first !! good luck! :j
crazychick--just been catching up, hope you are ok, sometimes it is good to get some space each x
I haven't been around all week, just finished me first week in my new job and I love it. The team are great and the job is really interesting:T so I am pleased!
ds2 (11) has been in London with the school since wed am! god I miss him, he has phoned us and is really enjoying himself. He is due back tonight at 10, so I will have to collect him from school, as oh is at work. I just hope I don't fall asleep! after 30 hours at work I am always really tired by friday night.
Not been much os going on at all, we have been out for our tea two nights running as ds2 wasn't here. Me and oh never get to spend any time on our own, so this seemed like a good time to go out.
On wed night we went to meet our friends, who have just had a baby then we went downstairs for a meal ( they live above a pub) we had a really good night:T Then last night we went to our local indian, which fab.:D
I felt so guilty about all this going out that I made an effort and cooked tea tonight!
gonna drop oh at work in a hour then watch some soaps and then phone my best friend later for a catch up
have a good friday evening, love dorry xx'If you judge people, you have no time to love them'

Hello everybody,
Smoky thinking of you and yours...hugs
Just read the whole thread and remember nothing....senior moments happening too often this week...may have something to do with the fact that as DD2 has a monster cold and cough I have been doing the late feed with Aoife and last night the poor little mite roared for almost an hour with wind...but she did sleep until 4.30 when I finally got her settled around 1 am, so DD had a good sleep and says that she feels more 'human' this morning...bit down I think as SIL not able to get a reasonably priced flight this weekend...mother's day I suppose...next week there is rugby here and the following week is St Patrick's weekend so looks as if his journies will be expensive..the ladies in his life can't go home until Aoife has a passport, S!bh's has to be renewed, all of which will take a month or so I think.
Just realised the time...nobody has been fed to-night yet so had better dash.

Hi MeanMarie
Thanks for the reminder about St Pats. Will need to get onto to Moonpig and get card sent to DS and partner. A few shops here sell St Pats cards but means a journey!
Early days for the baby (they seem to be permanently hungry at that age) but glad she settled and your DD2 feels a bit better.

Don't rub it in, please! I now have a craving but had a red wine so can't drive! Methinks the DGSs's treat box is going to be raided tonight. Oh dear only white choc (which I don't like) or our dear Haribo's favourite mixture (which I don't really like either!). However I am desperate for sweets! Maybe I should investigate the food cupboard tonight before I pack up on Sunday. There might be some cooking choc there!

Evening all
TATTYCATH hugs to you and your DD's.
Happy Birthday Master CC.
It's horrible here, blowing a gale and tipping it down. Had a look in the fridge, didn't have to throw out too much stuff that was off, managed to fit the rest in the freezer and cooked the chicken for dinner, first meal I've managed to eat since I was ill.
Have done loads of studying, trying to decide if I'm going to do some more now or at the crack of dawn, feel really tired. Will decide soon.
Have a good evening all.

Shez, yes it's buttercream icing in my avatar. The muffins are DD's Y10 art project (and like the car-made-from-cake advert, they weren't fit to eat once she'd finished with them
) More pics in my photobucket account.
Blowing a real hoolie here. We've had to rertrieve the bins twice  so DH has not tethered them to the drainpipe :T
Didn't go for my meal out; still feeling ropey. So we had "Movie Night" and watched Bride and Prejudice. Great Bollywood film, but no Colin Firth

enjoy having your ds back

ruby, good you might get the chance to clear the air, maybe he has sorted his head out  I think you have coped really well when he went the other night! keep strong!!
just had call from ds2 on the coach, they are stuck in a massive traffic jam outside nottingham! I think he won't be home till at least 10!
I miss him and I will be glad to have him home, our house just hasn't been the same without him her. Even the dog has been sleeping by the front door waiting for him to come home!!:rotfl:'If you judge people, you have no time to love them'
